Singles & Dating - 9 July 2007

Im 21. I was asked to hang out by a girl inever met a week before spring break. she said she recently broke up with her bf. i didnt want to be a rebound and set myself up to get hurt. I hung out with her three or four times before the break. There was never really a good moment to kiss her b/c mostly her friends were there so i just put my arm around her, snuggled, played with her hair, and she fell asleep on my chest once. (and i only knew her a week) I dont think i moved too slow b/c we still talked A LOT the first half of the break over the phone, texts, etc. I said i was glad i met her and she was beautiful and i couldnt stop thinking about her and she agreed. But she started getting very distant all of asudden for no reason halfway through the break. when we got back i told her i liked her (less than two weeks after I met her).she said she didnt want a rel. at the time. she then put love msgs in her aim (back with ex-bf?). What did i do wrong so i can learn for the next time??

My ex bf is a such a pain in the neck. He has got no life,n is a useless piece of s***. he now has a new gf(who was once my fren...but not close fren.). the gal's ex BOYFRIENDS ARE MY EX BF'S CLOSE FRENS! now they ended up together..n his new gf is not a virgin...got f****** up by his frens... n the best part is BOTH OF THEM THINK THEY ARE MAKING ME JEALOUS BY ROMANCING WHENEVER I SEE THEM IN CAMPUS.AND ESPECIALLY THE GAL ACTS "CUTE"...I WAS SO DAMN PISSED. SHE THINKS SHE'S PRETTY N CUTE. BUT THE FACT IS THEY BOTH ARE A DUMB COUPLE N HAV GOT NO LIFE.THEY MAKE CUTE FIGHTS IN FRONT OF ME TOO. Ok I go out with this guy and we "love" each other and I have a male friend that I am really kool with and my boyfriend knows about him b/c we went swimming together before. . .but I'm not attracted to him but I think he kinda likes me and yesterday he called me and we went out to eat. . .but I told my boyfriend I went with some friends. . .but would you call that cheating? i am to the point of no return with frustration !!! i feel like i am the prep school to make bad men better men FOR OTHER WOMEN!!! i've had guys break up with me because my income was more than theirs by far or that i was too career oriented, before that ive had guys breakup with me because i didnt have a job. ive been broken up with just to find out that another girl is moving into the house that i helped him close on and decorate... do you get my point i feel like im fighting a losing battle!!! so my simple quesion is what is it that men are looking for in a woman??? and i mean REALLY !!!

If someone asks a question on here like, "who would you rather be with: a handsome guy or a guy that'll protect you/be loyal/love you unconditionally", almost all of the girls say they'd take the second.

Why, then, do girls never give the people with these qualities a chance? Girls only go out with dumbass jocks who cheat on them by doing it with their ex-girlfriends and stuff.

What I'm getting at is, many guys who have these great qualities are not the "dreamiest" guys, and therefore they will never get a girl who is looking for a guy JUST LIKE THEM.

Is it just because they don't want to be made fun of or something?
Care to explain girls? I'm not trying to insult women or anything, it's just fustrating.

so there is this guy i have been talking to for about 3 months now and i really like him as more than a friend, but the problem is that he is 35 and im 20, he has two kids and im in college. he is the maintenance guy at my apartment complex so i only ever get to talk to him, at most, two times a week. he seems to enjoy it when i come to talk to him and our conversations are really casual; he's a great listener, but it took me most of these 3 months to get him to really open up to me. so i was wondering if i should tell him that i like him or if i should keep that to myself; it's really hard to do that because i really do like this guy for who he is (i just want to give him a nice hug right now) but he's the shy type that would probably not know how to handle info like that or at least not yet. i have asked him to see a movie with me, he said yes, but he can't cuz he has his kids on weekends. i think im really starting to fall hard for this guy; we have a lot in common...what do i do?

I like just added him yesterday and i commented his pics and i commented his blog which barely anyone does except for his bestfriends! I am in love with this guy who I work with and when I asked him if he had a GF he said "yes" and "no" and that it was a long story, we talk and the first day I met him we couldn't stop smiling and we still do that, when he told me that he might have a GF I got really sad and I kind of backed out on him and I am planning to pull myself away from him, am I doing the right thing? I am in in love and I mean it, I have never felt like this before and I believe in love at first sight and that is how I feel with him, when he's around I can't stop smiling but I was ready to cry when he told me about the question that I asked, and later that day when I was leaving from work he said "hi" and I said"bye" really quietly while I was sad and ready to cry and then when I got home I cried.........and I haven't seen him for a day because he didn't work yesterday at the same time as I did, and tomorrow I am going to see him,should I continue to talk to him or pull myslef away?

My girlfriend and I have been bf/gf for 3 days now, and we had dated a week and a half before then. We have known eachother and had a thing for eachother for 5 years before THAT. Heh anyway, she leaves for an internship thing tomorrow and tonight is our last night together. I need an idea for a date. Something that is real romantic. This might sound silly but I really need your opinion.

Yesterday my boyfriend of 2 years and I went to my best friends kids 3rd birthday party. So i picked up my baby cousin who is 4 so she can play. When he bought my friends kid his gift, he also picked up something for my cousin. Its the doodling pad with magnetic pen that when you swipe the lever it erases it. Well when he was showing her how works he wrote CHR. I asked what that meant and he said that the C is my 1st name and H is for my last name, but he wouldn't tell me what the R stood for, which is his last initial. Do you think he's trying to hint something? I know that sounds stupid but there's been other hints. Ok, like for example, he told my best friend that he wants me to be his wife, that i'll be perfect for him. But he knows she tells me everything, so why would he tell her? And he's been talking alot about our future. Am I wishful thinking or do you think he's gonna pop the question soon?

My boyfriend have broken up about 11 times. We do it as an impulse sometimes when we're mad or something. Then a few hours later of next five minutes we'll get back together. Now we laugh about it so just wondering is that normal? or does it look like we're not taking each other seriously? We have so many problems with eachother but we just can't seem to let go of the way we feel I guess. The most we've been apart was about a week. Throughout the week we would just look at eachother from across the hall way at school or stare at eachother with frowns. Not talking to him for a day breaks my heart it was like gasping for air that my lungs woudln't take in. I couldn't breathe then we got back together and everything was okay again. I was happy all over again. What the hell is wrong with me??

Can someone tell me why men think that all women love to feel pain during sex. I know there are some people who love pain but not all the time painful sex is good. You could be damaging the woman and not know it (cervical cancer- find out how it occur). I mean can some one tell me what thrill do you get when the woman is feeling such a discomfort.

am i being paranoid?
Question Details: im pregnant with triplets at the moment and my hormones are all over the place.

i want to get back with my ex but things are kinda strained. so neway hes away to orkney, and im like really paranoid hes with someone else.

i did ask him the other day if he was seeing someone else and he said no, hes never lied to me before but im sure you know how it is girls , intuition is kicking me in the butt.

im worried im being really paranoid and i mean it might just be the hormones but i cant shake the feeling, and i know that its not really my business if he is with someone else or not because well , after all hes my ex, but still, id be gutted , without going deep into the situation!.

do you think its the hormones ? or should i listen to instinct?
