so there is this guy i have been talking to for about 3 months now and i really like him as more than a friend, but the problem is that he is 35 and im 20, he has two kids and im in college. he is the maintenance guy at my apartment complex so i only ever get to talk to him, at most, two times a week. he seems to enjoy it when i come to talk to him and our conversations are really casual; he's a great listener, but it took me most of these 3 months to get him to really open up to me. so i was wondering if i should tell him that i like him or if i should keep that to myself; it's really hard to do that because i really do like this guy for who he is (i just want to give him a nice hug right now) but he's the shy type that would probably not know how to handle info like that or at least not yet. i have asked him to see a movie with me, he said yes, but he can't cuz he has his kids on weekends. i think im really starting to fall hard for this guy; we have a lot in common...what do i do?

u should ask him out a few times and let the relationship go on from there. You should probably tell him ur feelings. He may be stunned but flattered. Youll never know how he feals until you tell him. My parent are 10 years apart and it worked out 4 them so i dont see why it wont 4 u 2.

Open your eyes right now. Your are young, you have goals in your life, you are just 20 years old. Do you know who many other guys life have you waiting. So don't say nothing at all to him. If you want write in a blank paper your feelings that will help you a lot. Create a diary if you want but please don't get involved with anything that will keep you away from your dream.
You want to finish college and meet some that I am sure will be better than him. Never listen to your heart! or you will be confuse.

I'd say your best option is to make him a friend. He's a 35-year-old "maintenance guy". With kids! You're still young... Find someone with some drive that is your own age, because as nice as this guy is, he won't be contributing very much in a relationship.

well there seems to be chemistry between u two so why don't u just tell him? age doesn't really matter because things work out between people who are 18-20 yrs apart too!

sounds like the real thing, but keep in mind he is 15 years older than you. Age isn't really a factor of true love, so i would tell him how you feel. Good luck!

please dont do it. see ur just 20 and he is 35. its just an infactuation otwards him or a passionate towards him, u dont love him. please dont make a problem to his family , let him live his familky. if u keep on talking with him u will surely feel uncomfortable and feel tensed. so avoid him . there r so many guys in ur localitiy . avoid a person who is having family. it will be better for u both. please listen. as a brother please listen to me.
