Singles & Dating - 9 July 2007

We have been dating for 4 months and I really like him a lot and he told me he likes me and even said I love you to me. But now he is acting kinda weird. He usually calls me every 2 days and sometimes I would text him in between and we used to hang out a lot but now he never calls me much and when I call him he never stays on the phone for more than a minute. I don't understand. Its like he never wants to hang out anymore and when I tried to tell him whats wrong he got all mad and said that he was busy and that he only calls me when something is going on and that I should call more too but I text him and call more than he does. Then he kept saying thats its not me and nothing is wrong. But something is definetly up! I don't get it. I was thinking of just letting him go.

I have way too many relationships where the other person is no good. And to make matters worse I continuely go back to them no matter how I felt when we separated, or how upsetI was I always brought them back into my life.

OK, so as some people know - this guy has been messing with my head now for the past few weeks... he said he was going to call me Tuesday when we had plans and never called. Sent me texts on Saturday. Sent me MySpace message on Sunday. Today he keeps sending me e-mails asking me how I am and what I did this past week. I have responded politely to these e-mails, and now he hasn't stopped sending me e-mails... I feel like he is trying to take advantage of my kindness but he swears he's being sincere and is trying to apologize now -- I don't believe him and I shouldn't - right? He has left me no explination why he ignored me this past week at all... nothing... but I am supposed to be happy he's coming around now? I don't think so! What do you think?

ok so im 16.
last week i went camping with my brother and some of his friends wich are my friends too.
well one of my brothers friends i have liked for a long time and i just found out he really likes me but is worried my brother wouldnt like us dating
well we ended up sleeping by each other and when everyone else was sleeping we started making out and after a couple minutes of it i got on top of him and was like dry humping him and he took my bra off
but thats all that came off we both kept our pants on but do you think this was too far i mean this was my first kiss and im glad it was with someone that i really care about and all but idk if i took it too far

Do you think it's wrong for your boyfriend or partner ect. to talk about sex or ask another woman about thier masturbating habits? Or things such as wether or not they'd ever had an orgasm?

Even if you are not in a relationship wouldn't this hurt you?

my friend asked me this(about his personal life- a girl he was getting close to), my opinion is no. It is hard enough having a one on one relationship with someone, without having a third ( the child that is not yours- so you have to deal with this person on a different level than your own child ) or even a fourth ( a biological father who is ever present) involved.

It also would affect any spontanaiety in the relationship ( you can't just go somewhere on a whim, which to me seems romantic), and if you do settle with this woman, if taxes your resources (kids cost alot of money...it's hard to raise your own, let alone somebody elses kids)

Does it also show an irresponsibilty on that persons part, if the child was out of wedlock?

Would your answer be different if the woman (or man) had been married when they had the child, and their partner had died ( car accident, Iraq, or other tragedy...mine would).

I am throwing this one out to start a dialogue.

ok ladies, i have a question for you. lets say you were to get an e-mail from a guy that you've never talked to before, however have seen pictures of on facebook and can get some information about him, and he asks you to get together. would you be willing to go on a date with that guy if it was something small like going out for coffee during the day and something that didn't last very long, like maybe an hour or so? I was seeing this guy for about two months. The first month was great until the second month he became distant and extremely busy. He claims he isn't seeing someone and actually very busy with his work. He really does miss me alot, that's what he said...He doesn't call me at all even he said he will but then he didn't. I was so upset with him and angry at him because I didn't do anything wrong. I removed his phone number because I was worried I might call him too often than he.. I am 22 and about to graduate from college in december. I have had many job offers in a variety of locations, but I really have my heart set on one in Boston. I have a girlfriend of 3 years who would not like the city life one bit. Now something else complicates this situation, we have been going through some hard times (arguing, disagreements, etc,) now I'm not sure she is the "one". And now I am realizing we really dont have much in common (music, movies, etc). But mostly what I am wondering is should I sacrifice a career in the city for a career out in the sticks with a girl who I think I love?

I am still very attached to her and there are things which I still love about her. We have gone through alot such as, her returning from college in pennsylvania just cause she missed being with me. We have had our ups and downs but nevertheless I would like to see if there are other girls who I can connect with better

In my Sociology class we were talkin about races and stuff and my professor said that Caucasian people have a distinct advantage in every aspect of their life in the United States. She is a Caucasian herself and she said "Especially in the dating world and the nightlife...they are the superior ones"

I couldn't exactly comprehend what she meant

i had been dating this girl for 3 and a half months and after meeting her parents she breaks up with me.....she says its her own decision but i believe her parents influenced her into doing it because i dont think they liked me.........she told me she wanted to be friends and i told her that i would call her when im ready..........now ive been thinking and i dont think i wanna be her friend.........i wanna move on and forget about her......i havent called or spoken to her in a week......shes on my msn and i know shes waiting for me........should i tell her wat i feel or should i continue not talking to her.....wat should i do????? i also wrote a poem about how i feel....should i just let her read and maybe she'll get the point???
