Why not? I don't think this should even be questioned or thought of. I personally believe that we shouldn't see the color of a person's skin when first meeting anyone to begin with, though our schemas tend to do that.

A person is a person. Screw being concerned over such trivialities as racial differences. And be VERY thankful that back and 1967, we still had a fair-minded and egalitarian U.S. Supreme Court that stood up for personal liberties. (Our schmuck of a "president" has probably destroyed that for as long as all of us will live!)
In its "Loving vs. Virginia" decision, in 1967, the Court struck DOWN **all** remaining laws barring interracial marriage. And the USA has been diversity-enhanced since.

If two people want to be together, color should not make a difference. You will encounter different points of view from family/friends/the public, but who cares? It's not anyone else's decision to make, and the only thing that matters is how the 2 people in the relationship feel.

I think the only two people who can decide if they want to date are the two people considering. While this may seem simplistic and naive, I dont think it is anyone's business who dates who. Now I understand that families are going to have their say and as long as the two people are of an age to date then I dont see that the family has anything to say about it either. If I like someone and want to go out with them I will do so regardless of what my family and to some extent her family have to say about it

I don't believe in interracial dating as there's only one race... the human race.

I'm indifferent towards it.
Granted I get irked when I see an Asian girl with a different race, but nothing is wrong with it- I just feel weird. I can't help it either.
But that's cause it's our fault as Asian men- We should have stepped up and made her want us =)
But yeah overall I think it's cool, people will get introduced into new cultures and that's always fun.

I'm for it! my fiance is half african american and half white and I'm white. I don't think there is anything wrong with it personally. although my family thinks its one of the worst "sins" there is. love shouldn't be based on a color. or an age! love is blind right? I thought so anyways. in school people used to pick on us we still get weird looks when we are in the store together because he looks really black. it doesn't bug us at all we don't care. if you really love some one the color of his skin shouldn't matter to you thats my opinion anyways. I lost a lot of "friends" over this

i think it's great in fact i am a result of that my mother is Canadian and my father is Lebanese , i don't think that ethnicity matters when it comes to love and some gorgeous babies have definitly come out of interacial relationships/marriages. so why not give it a try you never know what will happen not to mention it's great to learn about another culture. you can't control who you love.

For it, because though there generally are some differences between races, it really just comes down to love. And love has no color.
