Singles & Dating - 13 May 2007

ok. as of this minute i have 6 hrs to come up with what im going to do and i need your help and opinion. Ok, this is my situation.

i called her dad up yesterday evening and ask if she had a boyfriend (no) and i asked if he would care if i asked her out (no he didnt care to say the least he was "thrilled" ) so he said to give her a call tomorrow (Today) so now he kinda expects me to call her today (or at least thats how i feel) the problem is my family is going to a our church today (that we go to every week) it last about 3 hrs and some. i could fake sick, stay home, my family goes to church, and i go out with her what do you think?

P.S. the reason i would have to go out with her today is because she is busy with Sports practice all week and the next 2 weekends she will be gone competing.

P.S.S ok after she is done with the sports i only have 3 weeks before she leaves for good (she is a foreign exchange student) Ok am i thinkin crazy here if so tell me or Give me your opinion on on what you think i should do PLEASE

So I have this really good friend named Jake. He recently just wrote me a poem, confessing how he's in love with me. However, I have a boyfriend, and he knows it.

I told my best friend about it, and she's telling everybody about what Jake did. Now Jake is really angry with me and I don't know how to fix it. I want Jake and I to be friends but now things are awkward and he's pissed.

For as long I've known about sexuality, I've seen myself as "straight". I'm seeing myself as more "bi-curious" now, and I'm sorta having a problem with it.

My main problem is that I have no idea whether the girl I like is interested in me. She's smart, athletic, a bit of a tomboy, funny, and plays the trumpet. We hang out a lot, especially when our concert band and jazz band goes out to perform.'

How can I tell if she's interested, or try to show her subtly that I'm interested?

I know this guy for a little over a year now. when we met he had a girlfriend but he liked me and i liked him,we kinda clicked. Well I don't think I'm flirting with him, but all my friends say I'm "power flirting". All because I sat near him in Social Studies, and sometimes he offers to help with stuff we're studying and I have no clue how to do it. I mean I guess we have been hanging out a little more than normal and I'll admit I like him, but we're only friends. Am I flirting with him and what would you consider "flirting" anyway?

We are friends from 4 years and started seeing each other before 1 year eight months ago from now on. We both are pretty serious about spending our life together. My boyfriend and I were together 6 months and everything was going amazingly well, we were so in love, then he dumps me out of the blue. Things were getting serious (you know when you get sensitive to the other person, little things hurt your feelings) and he got freaked out. He begged for me back that night. Everything was going really well again and he dumped me randomly a week later. I later found out from a mutual friend he was telling people he found it overwhelming to feel so strongly about someone and it scared him.
He begged for me back again, sounded really positive this time. Said he was 110% commited to me and i was the best thing to happen to him and he was sorry it ever happened.
Now 2 months later he's just broken up with me again. Basically for the same reasons. He cried when he did it. Admittedly he has a LOT of stuff going on in his life right now, worries. Major family problems, worried about doing his post-grad, his grades aren't high enough...
