he is the bartender at the corner bar where i go a couple times a month. The first time i met him he asked for my number and later we ended up at the same friends house,i crashed on the couch and him on the floor. He drove me to my car the next morning.I later found out he has a girlfriend so i backed off.he never called but he always flirts with me when im in there and gives me free drinks.i was told he likes me still(a year later)but he still has his girlfriend, and i saw her and she is not all that pretty.would it be bad to tell him i like him also and maybe he will leave her?is that bad?

Well, you might get in trouble from the girlfriend but here's what I think you should do... let him know that you like him, but don't push him at all. That way, he can make his decision. If he says he likes you a year later then there's obviously something that intriguies him enough to possibly leave his girlfriend. I say just be open about your feelings and let him make the call!

Bartender huh, you do realize he does this often right. Its about 5 other girls he's playing this game with along with you at the same time. It never amazes me what is obvious to another man is quite oblivious to a woman.

Chances are he won't leave her especially if he was involved with her before meeting you, and since he's still with her today! You can tell him your feelings there's nothing wrong with that you really shouldn't hold something like that back! You never know what can happen! But don't hold your breath just in case it doesn't work! Good luck either way!

Yes that is bad. don't go down that road. You will have BAD relationship karma if you try to steal another womans man. SO WHAT if she isn't all that pretty. She may have a heart of gold, and if you contribute to him breaking it, the same thing WILL happen to you. Trust me. Just back off and be a lady. Don't be the hoochie.

I would think that he flirts with you because he is drunk. Don't go out with a bartender when he has a girlfriend. I'm pretty sure he likes her for a reason.

err. no! he has a girlfriend. it would be the decent thing to tell his girlfriend that this scumbag of a guy is flirting with you while he's going out with her. whether she's pretty or not is irrelevant! she's still his girlfriend. by the sounds of it, you've already made your mind up that you'll do something with him & you just want people to agree that it's ok. well it's not!
if you want to be a skanky hoe with no man of her own... then go ahead.

The fact is that he is still dating her for whatever reason and I would not waste my time with anyone who seems to be taken.

you can tell him but it is his choice if he wants to be with you or her. And looks aren't everything maybe he likes his g/f because of her personality. and no its not really bad if he dumps her but if you try to break them up then yeah it is pretty bad.

I say fair game b/c they're not married. Tell him you're interested, and if he wants to leave her for you, his choice. If he doesn't want to leave her, dont allow him to still have you too.
