Yes, you can call it over-stepping. A guy wants to be loved back like he loves his girl, so the desire to be loved back makes us ask "Do you love me".
Guy wants to listen that the girl he loves, loves him back with same passion or not ?

beause: he understands me better than anyone else. he gets all my jokes, no matter how stupid. he's cute, funny, and has a great personality. i can talk to him about anything, and he listens. he's nice and caring. he likes the same music and stuff that i do. he gives me a reason to wake up in the morning and face the day. he gives me butterflies. and seeing him or seeing that i have a message from him makes me smile and brightens up my whole day. he's made me look forward to my own future...and ours. he's taught me to never give up hope. he never stays mad at me, no matter what i say to him. my parents even like him. ilovehim just because he's him. =)

when a guy says do you love me that means that he began to feel that things are not on track or u can say it's a disperate way of saying give me a proove and from my personal experiance i said this phrase twice and in both cases after a really short perioud i loose the person i loved

#1 He's trying to be cute...Because you know that we ask the same thing. It's for attention, sometimes you just want to hear it again
#2 He can be insecure....sometimes lebanese men can be a bit possesive and too obsessed. So be careful!

I just assume by a couple of dates and charming them of course.. that THE GIRL loves me.. which of course is usually right!

I know woman are good in lying. thats why men hate women.. but they love women for the great sex!!
but I can tell a lie from a fact.. and I know that when a woman says it whether she means it or not.. and in practically all the cases.. the girl ACTUALLY DID LOVE ME.. but I dont blame them!

We just love it when girls say it. And we wanna make sure u will never leave us alone and u will stay here next to us. It is like we wanna garantee u for me!!! For e.g. and this is only an e.g.
G Bone loves Pinky so he goes and asks Pinky "Do you love me?" Pinky does love him but he wants her to say it so he could keep the relationship alive and fresh.
It is good for couples to say from time to time "Do you love me? " and "I love you too".

I would never say something like that to the person I love. The whole purpose of love is trust and confidence, if he doesn't feel secure of himself, yes he would say something like that. You might want to look into getting a new boyfriend.

ill tell you why.well there are several reasons.
1)some guys say it just to make sure their lover is still loves them.
2)they just like hearing it again n again.
3)to get them turned on. because the fact that the girl desires him turns him on.
4)just to show off infront of his friends....
