try to make eye contact across the bar and if she seems to be looking at you too then send a drink over to her. She will most likely not accept the drink if she is not interested. If she is interested she will accept then you can walk over to her and introduce yourself. Just tell her your name and ask hers. Just make small talk. After a couple of drinks it will get easier to talk.

With a hammer if it is frozen solid... I however have never found a happy relationship with ANYONE i have ever dated in a bar/tavern/nightclub. People you meet in there want either instant gratification or just trying to forget the pain of the last painful relationship,Neither is a good combination. I would advise looking else where if your looking for a true long term relationship, There are social and dating clubs out there. Check some of these out, I think you may find a better quality of people then you would in the standard bar. If you still insist on the bar scene, I would say something like. Excuse me, but has anyone told you tonight how beautiful you are? And when you say it, mean it. Be honest and sincere, And you won't go wrong..

If the ice isn't already crushed, most bars have an ice crushing tool for mostly mixed drinks preparations. Some places use blenders, but they're really noisy!

Just try being yourself. Keep all the corny jokes to yourself and don't rush to by a girl a drink. Keep good eye contact and if she doesn't seem interested, then keep on moving. Never try to pressure too much. We usually know right away if we'll have anything to do with you or not. Or if we just want a free drink.
