Some people are so cruel, that people who are, and can never be as cruel as that still have no clue on how such people are that way, like you are now. Its easy to point fingers at the person who wasnt cheating, saying that there was no connection, and perhaps the person who was loyal wasnt good enough, or did not add anything into the relationship.....but its all basic. I agree something should have attracted him or her, but the least respect he or she could do is not really enjoy with you, and enjoy with the other person...thats really weird for a person who may say that '''okay, i cheated cos' i really didnt have anything with you'''.....
Its painful to see that guilt-less face, and it hurts you so deep that you cant stop asking this person ''why why why''.....you get vague answers, you arent happy with any of the answers, because you may have been sincere and loyal....the truth is this person is cruel, and can be easily diverted. People like this do not understand that they too get old, weak, and all this lust dies, and would all this matter then, than having someone, I mean your own life partner with you till the end of life, having a family together, and the warmth and love that lies in the promise of a marriage. These are people whose lust drives them to do just about anything, on various reasons, and they are confused cos' they really dont know the reason themselves on why they cheated. Lust and lust alone, I am not sure if love exists in all cases. Very few maybe due to some pressure between the spouses, difference ofopinion, or leading an unhealthy life.....but in your case, a year, this person has been hurting you knowingly and even living with you like ''theres no tomorrow'', so isnt that a crime done with absolute conciousness ?
Forget him. Move on. Say, he did apologize, would you be in the mindset ot accept it now considering the amount of time he has been ditching you ? It would be really difficult, but please do meet a counsellor, so that you know that whatever you are feeling is absolutely right.
From my side, this man/woman, does not deserve a second chance. I know, although I do firmly believe in everyone getting a second chance.....but that would be a trial n' error thing;...where you are not really sure, are you ?
get away, and get a new life...

Not to be very rude. He probably did it b/c he lost what he had for you. (Harsh) Not that it's your fault it's just he lost interest. And not that it's any excuse "didn't want to tell you so he cheated to get out of the relationship-yes your spouse has no balls- just to say I don't fell the same anymore many of my friends relationship ends like that b/c no one has the balls to hey this is really hard for me instead of trying to find another way out I appreciate all that you have been to me but I don't feel same way about you any more this may hurt know but...- it's better than cheating on you.

they just are showing you how much you mean to them. cheaters don't care about anybody but themselves. if they do it once they will do it again, get rid of this person!!! you should only be with a person who makes you feel good, if being cheated on makes you feel better then stay with this loser, meanwhile he is making somebody else feel good ; not you...

my EX HUSBAND cheated, and still he doesnt feel bad about it- really... get rid of ANYONE who cheats!!!!
