I am 23. My boyfriend "Chad" is 33. We are very compatible, want the same things out of life & have already predicted that we will be together for the long haul. However, he's never said the L word. And I'm not sure how long I should wait. I've already said it (sort of), & never again because I felt rejected by his unreciprication.

We've been together 8 months. I have a 3 year old son, - my boyfriend adores him, & treats him like his own kid. I was engaged to my son's dad, and was verbally abused. We ended badly. My boyfriend is divorced, his wife cheated on him & they divorced two years ago after 4 years of marriage. I realize he may have some hesitation about being with someone after going through something like that. But I find it difficult to be with him, have sex, live in his house, cook meals, do laundry, etc - having not heard that yet. It just doesn't make sense.

I don't want to be impatient, but I don't want to get hurt. How long should I wait?

time goes on, bad feelings remain.. (me complaining) i can't think of anything else productive until i have dealt with past feelings. i have the ability to access the person involved BUT i'm scared :( i could end up foolish, further lacking confidence,. For six months i haven't worked, i was sacked but i didn't like the job. i thought i would work through my personal baggage THEN get a direction. i have not sorted myself. i cannot let go of the baggage. (MY EXCUSE) i want to tell the girl that she is not a strong as she thinks she is. i think she is strong BUT no stronger than me. However i have lost the confidence to actually go and say this. She has a new life, is pregnant and engaged. we all have questions for ourselves and mine is "am i strong enough to face this girl again?" (because i may easily bump into her out and about....)

When I was 23 was watching a girlfriends place for a week whlie she was out of town, well "Carla" was 6 foot tall, very leggy and a really pretty lady. Well was bored one night , shaved my legs, arms, chest, ect. looked in her closet and found this gorgeous ankle lenght black leather skirt, hot ankle strap black pumps, black bustier , and she had new leggs jet black hose, well tried them on, did my hair ( was long then) looked at a womens magazine and did my makeup. Was a thrill, new it was " wrong" but it felt so good.
well Carla came home, caught me, was pissed at first , then she looked at me up and down, kinda smirked and told me to get into her car, she said if I wanted to dress like a woman, I was going to be her " woman" for the night, she "punished me" by showing me off in all the bars we hung out at.

So, what would you gals do? freak, love it , or participate?

ok, so this boy and i have been talking for a while now and we planned on going out (keep in mind were only 16) but then he psyched himself out cause he had this huge thing planned for my birthday but a girl we know ruined it and then he got scared to ask. but i really like him and think that i could possibly be in love cause i feel different about him than any of my other boyfriends. a bunch of my friends told me to ask him out and one of his good friends (also one of mine) told me that wasnt such a good idea. so im really confused about what to do anymore. cause we basically have everything but the title and we spend a LOT of time together and everyone always commenting about us doesnt help my situation. please give me some outside views on the situation.

Over the past few months I have heard some very disturbing news stories across the country. News stories about women being killed in horrific ways by husbands and boyfriends. Many were murdered and mutiliated, bured and one even bbqed on a grill by her ex boyfriend. Sickos
My question is do these women not get warning signs when dealing with a sicko? Do these guys seem normal then all of a sudden just snap without any kind of warning. Or are women just being blind and naive about the sicko men they are dealing with.
I am a 31 year old single black female that would love to get married one day. I am terrified to death when I hear these stories. What can I do to avoid a sicko? How can I know if someone in my life is a sicko? Would I know a sicko or would he just strike without warning??

At what stage does this change? I've been seeing a guy since mid january and we've been getting on great but it's at the awkward stage where you don't know what's going on. He has said he doesn't want me to see anyone else and isn't interested in anyone else himself but doesn't want to rush into anything either and to be honest, neither to do but I don't understand what the difference is between saying you're seeing someone and saying you have a boyfriend?

I was in a loving relationship with a great man. His sister didn't like me at all. His friends acted like they did. His sister got him to go out with a girl behind my back. I just recently (last night) found all this out. He still loves me and I still love him. Now I will admit that I had gotten drunk one night and kissed another woman. I told him about it the very next day on the phone and he said he would forgive me. That weekend he was supposed to come get me so we could spend time together, he didn't. His sister called on his cell phone for him and ended our relationship because he didn't want to hurt my feelings. I love him still and the girl he cheated on me with for 6 months is now my best friend. Should I give him another chance?

s it ever okay to email a guy and say that you will no longer be emailing him and if wants to email you he can and if he wants to come and see you he can. but that I would no longer be emailing him until I hear from him? did i do the right thing? He was never been honest about his feelings or what is going on. he is back and forth all time. He says he is now in love with someone but I know for a certainty he is not. especially when he has to read and reread my emails tons of times before he is able to reply. I have a way of knowing how many times my emails get read. so i said enough? did i do the right thing?

I broke up with my ex gf for family/cultural/religious reasons and the tension that was causing in the relationship. We remained good friends and I visited her to chat and kept her company at parties. Being just friends hurt a lot. Few weeks later I realised it was wrong and closed minded to have listened to my family/culture/religion and I had been misguided by these and hadn't been true to myself. I then talked a lot with my parents after breakup (who were against the relationship at the time) and they finally started to agree that I should have stayed with her.

Anyway I went back to her and explained this to her. I begged her over a month to take me back. Finally she explained that she liked me as a friend but not a boyfriend and sympathised with what had happened, but no longer had any romantic feelings for me and saw me just as a friend. She said she really wants to be friends but I love her and will get hurt again when she gets with someone else. How should I deal with it?
