I recently put a message up about meeting up with someone you met on the internet. My friend has decided that she definately wants to go to meet a guy she met on the internet. they are meeting easter weekend. i know where and when they are meeting. is it wrong of me to go along and 'spy'?

How about asking her if she'd like you to hang around in the background (e.g. going for coffee you sit at another table) so that if trouble occurs or she wants out she can give you a signal.
If she declines your offer yeah i'd be tempted to spy. Even though it's wrong.

Yeah, I'm also a huge meeting people online critic. If I were you, I would go spy just because I'm nosey. If you're really worried about it, I would ask her if she wanted to me to tag along and spy... just in case something bad happens.

well im a huge critic on this casue i met a girl on the internet and she was jus a mind game player and it just really annoyed me so i wouldnt go and spy jus take an interest and make sure she has somone to cry on if it goes pear shaped

I think you should go and spy, what if its a freak its always dangerous to meet someone off the internet the internet lies about everything. so why protect her. i say do it

yes it is wrong to go spy....But the best thing to do on a first meeting is to go on a double date or meet in very public place.....

Well she must be knowing bout that person then only she took a decision of meeting that person
Well if u feel insecure then u shud directly talk to ur frnd bout it
Don't spy them coz then she will feel ackward.
If u really want to know bout that person then u shud talk bout it wid ur frnd that even u want to know bout that persn

if you are concerned for her then go ....but do tell her and if she feels comfortable with him then she will let you know when you can disappear !!!
they are some weird ones on line but there are some good ones also ...dont tar them all with the same brush
but to keep your mind at ease then tag along at sit at a differnt table

yes its wrong but Id so do it as well - I mean REALLY you're only doing it as a good friend - just to make sure he looks safe and doesnt try and kidnap her or anything murky!
