Absolutly! I found the love of my life on Yahoo! Personals. A lot of people knock online dating, but I live in a rural area where it's very hard to meet people especially if you're not into the bar scence (which I am NOT. Who wants to meet someone in a bar anyway?). It took a while and I went on a lot of dates before I finally found my sweetheart, but be patient. It could work for you too.

I'm so not one to try internet dating i kinda think its sad and for lazy people who can't go out and find someone on there own, but almost 2 yrs ago i was just looking through the yahoo personals while bored at work, and i saw someone who was cute and i liked what he wrote, so i just said hello. Now almost 2 yrs later where still going strong.I still am not an advocate of online dating though, go figure! Just becareful, theres alot of pycho's out there :-)

Well with anything else it's a hit or miss, but I personally think it yeids more sex relationships than anything else. People (especially guys) get on there and say they are looking for a committed relationship but they are really looking for casual sex. I know a guy who is probably still listed on yahoo personals and he's MARRIED!

A lot of scams out there so be careful who you contact. Most of the time you get no responses to messages you send out. The ones you do get could be scams.

NO NO NO NO. It's stupid and crummy. They show pics of the best lookin folks and you click on the pic it's the COMPLETE opposite. Ur better off with another dating site.
