Aren't their always warning signs when your dealing with a sicko or are women just that naive and desperate??

Over the past few months I have heard some very disturbing news stories across the country. News stories about women being killed in horrific ways by husbands and boyfriends. Many were murdered and mutiliated, bured and one even bbqed on a grill by her ex boyfriend. Sickos
My question is do these women not get warning signs when dealing with a sicko? Do these guys seem normal then all of a sudden just snap without any kind of warning. Or are women just being blind and naive about the sicko men they are dealing with.
I am a 31 year old single black female that would love to get married one day. I am terrified to death when I hear these stories. What can I do to avoid a sicko? How can I know if someone in my life is a sicko? Would I know a sicko or would he just strike without warning??

There are always signs, men are so naive that they give them out daily and constantly on how they are. The thing is that women, as we are, just choose to disregard those signs, and when we end up broken hearted it is only then, thinking with out heads that we realize that those signs were there all along.

Guys like this do not put on that they're sickos at first. It can take months or years for a woman to get it. Even then she may not have enough courage or leave. A lot of the time it is too late. She is either already dead, scared or "in love".

That's the best question I've read all day. Here are the signs I would look for. Someone who is a little too nice, charming. Someone who, even if you get mad, doesn't get mad right then and there. And then just when they think you aren't looking observe him. I would look for a strange, faraway look in his eyes. Also, if he doesn't talk about his family much or if he doesn't take you around the family. See, I'm a mystery solver and I find the smallest signs of something that isn't right. But just keep these and other signs in mind. Whenever you feel that something just isn't right, then don't persue anything with anyone. Always follow your instinct.

Also if they are a little too isolated or too quiet.

The first problem is that you're watching the news. STOP. You'll be a lot happier. I just read an article, the other day, about a man who jumped into freezing water to save the life of a five-year-old girl, who had fallen in. Did you hear about that? Didn't think so. Women kill there husbands too - it just doesn't get the same kind of attention from the media. Just relax, be happy, and rest comfortable in the knowledge that most men are not going to kill you. :-)

The likelihood of marrying a sicko is very small. It's like every time you go outside, you're afraid of getting struck by lightning. It could happen, but it probably won't. If you end up getting BBQ'ed, then maybe somehow that's God's plan for you. I wouldn't worry so much about it; then you'll never get married. You'll spend your relationships looking for signs that he is a sicko rather than looking for signs that he is the one.

Well, some probably do just snap. But I would think one of the big signs would be someone who lies or is evasive about things, the one guy who killed his wife had lied about several things. Another thing to watch out for, if the guy is controlling and doesn't trust you. If a guy starts to show those signs, run, because they only get worse the longer you stay with them. Good Luck!
P.S.- And if you ever just have an feeling about something being wrong about somebody, listen to that instinct, sometimes that's the only clue we have. It might not be something as bad as the guy being a murderer, but it could even save you from dating an asshole!

Sometimes it is hard to tell who you are dealing with until you have been with them a while . Warning signs that I myself have personally experienced are :

Verbally abusive , insecurity , jealousy , controlling , constantly being accused of cheating , and wants to keep you isolated from family and friends .

Yes what happened to those poor women was very tragic and sad they must have found out about them to late .

well being around sicko ex boyfriends i can attest to a few

notice how he was raised, was he raised well w/ a nice family? his mom love him? his dad?
does he like animals?
sometimes he'll tell you stuff like "my mom hit me in front of my friends"- this is grounds for some serious issues

i dated a guy who has serious issues in life now all because his parents didnt buy him a full hockey gear when he was a kid.

it doesnt mean hes a bad person, but for sure its gonna be harder than a guy who was raised in a nice environment. it all starts at home hon. and if you wanna raise a kid in a nice environment you also need a good hubby for that.

It's very hard to tell. Because these sickos are like normal beings but we may not know what they are thinking. So when you get attached with someone. DON'T TRUST HIM SO EASILY EVEN THOUGH LOVE IS SO BIG !
