This is really disturbing to me as a law abiding, non-felon, non-thuggish, non gold toothed and educated black man. I notice from others and from my own personal experience of rejection, that asian women only or primarily date white men and sometimes moreso than asian men. Have they forgotten the 2 atomic bombs dropped on them by white men during World War 2? They turn us down and turn right around and go date and take chances with white men that started racial slurs such as "jap", "slant eyes" or just want a slave or mail order bride. These asian women are willing to put theirselves through that just because a man has white skin but they want even look at a black man. The cultures are so different and most white people think they are better than any race not "pure" and they haved proved that through their track record in dealing with minorities throughout history..you know..the Indian genocide..black slavery..starting a war with Mexico to get Texas..Iraq & Afhganistan..sound familiar?

I was w this wonderful person for 5 years. We started young & we were both our first loves. 5 weeks ago she decided to end it due to unresolved issues, hectic schedule & the imminent decision for her to leave the country next year indefinitely. Over the course of the past month, I've come to terms with the situation.

I found new ambitions to somehow work my career so dat our paths may cross again. I wanted to move on, in a way where I'd let go of her, but keep my feelings for her withheld within me. I indulged myself in healthy sports & old interests readily as a result.

Last week, I got to know dat she was in a state of confusion. Confusion about what exactly, I'm not sure. A near accident drove me to visit her last night to say things before I might never have the chance to. Unfortunately, she was tired & talking seemed ptless. I left then, but I realise I too had no feelings left for her. It didn't matter if I had spoken to her last night.

I've become what I tried to not be. Why?

i was really feeling the vibe with this girl. our intense but short lived romance flowed like a love letter full of all the sweetness that is not always without some degree of self-generated obsession. anyhow, this girl is somewhat of a jealous possessor, keeps questioning me about "booty calls". so i told her out of respect and dignity for the situation that i have had some hook-ups but don't treat it like a crime sugarpuss--i was single and by sheer act of thoughtful impulse pulled off some consensual fun legit-like. nxt thing you know, she text me and says she's working full time a day job and a night job, can't chill no more. what kind of taurine-defecation is this? so i was quick to give her the classic proverbial "f**k you". but since i'm philosophical about the ups and downs of my life, i would like to invite you to tell me just what's up with this chick? everything was cool until i told her about my pass hook-ups. just cuz i was honest she had to dis me? or something else?

Is it totally bad to just to completely end a relationship by ignoring them until they get the point, i.e. the person's calls and text messages and avoid them at all costs with no explanation when you have been dating them for several months.

Although I had some real reservations at first, I've now been seeing a girl who happens to be 14 years younger than I for a few months. I honestly don't think about it as much as I did as first, but it's still very strange to think that when I was in high school, she was a toddler.

I really adore this girl and feel closer to her than I have to anyone in a long time, but the age difference thing really does stay in the back of my mind. It seems that we would be in two completely different places in our lives, and that it just wouldn't be practical or realistic to think that we could have a stable, lasting long-term relationship.

Does anyone have an opinion about this?

My good friend (who I've known for 13 yrs),is in a wierd stage of life, she has been a "good girl" her whole life,she came to me a while back and said she wants to be a rebel which I supported and told her she needs to break loose some, it would do her good and probably would be a good growing expierence for her. However since then she has been dating a guy that has changed her so much it almost seems like she may never come back from it. I as a friend have talked to her about these feelings and she agrees with me but then the following week it happens all over again. Something has got to change or she might burn bridges with the people she loves and I am not sure I can hang on much more and if things end with this guy she is going to be very depressed and alone.
p.s. it is not drug related.
