Singles & Dating - 11 March 2007

My girlfriend and I had been together for about 3 years and she broke up with me recently. The last 5 months were not very good. We argued alot and she just seemed to be holding back on me/ disinterested etc. So one day we get into an argument and she says im sorry i realize now I dont love you blah blah blah. Obviously I was heart broken. She claimed and still claims (its been abotu a week since we broke up) that she just has no feelings whatsoever and she only views me as a friend.

Im trying really hard to believe her and based on the way she had been acting it just seemed like she was changing and she really didnt have any feelings, but its real hard to comprehend that we were in love, had talked about marriage, and then she just magically stops having feelings. My friends all say 'she still has feelings she just doesnt realize or is trying to ignore them.' I dont know what to do. We were best friends and its hard to get over her when im also sitting hoping...

my best friend has changed into someone else since we hit High School. She is getting boyfriends, when frankly we all know she is to young. Everyone is different when it comes to pier pressure, but what can i say to make her change back to the way she was? Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like this guy at school. He looks cute but he looks at me sometimes but I stare at him all day! I'm so scared to approach him. The whole class knows I like him exept him. Oh gosh I always sweat when talking about him. I even took a photo of him in my camera!! But the year came an end last year so he had to go to a better class. I miss him. How can I tell him that I liked him?!? He is a korean (he can converse in english too) boy. A transfer student from Seoul, South Korea. I'm so addicted to him last year. I know every info about him like his bday, height, address, telephone number but he does not know that I know them. Hehe.... I'm a primary 6 student and I know I'm too young to do this. But I'm not dirty thinking about kissing.. -ew!

I've almost always fantasized about guys breaking up w/ their gfs (NOT wives!!) for me or more like trying to cheat on them with me! the reason I said "try to", because I wont actually let it happen. I'm a good girl, and my conscious mind would not allow me attracting a taken man, but it's weird that my subconscious mind's almost always trying to win a taken guy over. My fav. fantasy: a guy who is taken tries to kiss me, b/c he actually started liking me a lot, and I push him away and tell him "you are dating someone!" and I walk out of the room. So , i dont really want to kiss the guy, b/c that's just wrong, but i just LOVE that feeling that he's willing to take so much risk b/c of me. And It's PURE fantasy! For example, once boyfriend of a really close friend of mine started getting really attached to me (maybe not romantically). Anyway, I stopped talking to him altogether b/c I was afraid about where the attachment was heading, even though i really liked him as a friend! :-(

i met her here on yahoo! answers... some of you know who i'm talking about. she's a resident of the UK... me, i'm in the US. and both of us had been both married and divorced and when we met, initially we both stated that neither of us wanted to get married... but as things happen and evolve and reveal themselves, it turns out that she is the one for me and i am the one for her... perfect soulmates... somehow found each other without really looking and across a huge body of water... (thank you al gore for the interweb). and although we've never met in person, shared the same oxygen, viewed each other with the naked eye... we feel so confident in our spiritual connection that we want to get married. of course, we have to meet for that to occur... but do you think we're completely mad? do you think it's possible to actually KNOW that you've met that ONE PERSON without actually meeting them in person? Is it possible to get to know the inner workings of someone through other means?

Who thinks there should be a separate section for Teens/Kids Singles and Dating and Adults Singles and Dating?? i'm sorry but i cant always analyze what it means if a guy held your hand in the movie theater. its just very different and I think it would be easier to ask questions and get answers from your age group right??? how do you even propose something like that to yahoo? i know im not alone here...

Hi all,
I've asked a girl out for a movie date in an hour's time. We used to be schoolmates, but we never talked. Recently, I've made it known to her that I liked her, over the Internet. I'm now wondering what I should be doing during the date (which comprises of dinner at an undecided location too).

Issues include how to offer to pay for her, and things like deciding where to eat (she's the indecisive type), and topics to talk about, and stuff. Need answers fast! thanks.

I used to work with this cute chick at a callcenter. We went through training together copyed eachother on tests and sh*t. She was Dam* Sexy. I got her number and we used to text all the time. I used to tell her her ex should not have treated her the way he did cause she could not get over it.The on day I told her she was beautiful and she just said thanx and we texted for a lil more then went to sleep. The next day on my break I went over and was playin w/ her hair and talkin to her she was bein pretty cool. Then all the sudden right before we both quit she would start textin me and then stop for no reason no response and avoiding me at work. Well we both quit around the same time (actually I got fired) and she quit she started textin me and told me where she was workin now and stuff then same stuff no response. then all the sudden 2 mos later she text me some dumb chain letter I send back I hate those LOL. we text for a lil then again no ansewer. what did I do?

Any advice? I'm moving to FL in June and I lived there for 9 years up until 2003. I'll be around friends both male and female that I basically grew up with and some I like more than friends and some are strictly friends. The thing is that I'm going to (once I'm there) look for a relationship of some sort (dating) and it seems that the guys I find myself attracted to and vise versa end up having severe mental problems (one thought he was a vampiric-nymphomaniatic-psychic, one was super controlling but very nice and good-looking, one cheated and got a chick pregnant (most recent relationship), and one became a cocaine-dependent alcoholic!(he was a yr younger)) I'd absolutely LOVE to get together with a guy (normal guy!) I had a crush on in High School but I'm unsure of how to go about it if it turns out he's still single. I'm a fairly nice person and usually the bf's tell me I'm too good for them and I'm not stuck-up or anything nor bitchy nor picky. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks! -S

I was only seeing him for about a month and half before he straight up said "i dont think i can be with you anymore because you treat me like ****. You tell me what to do and ask me to change the clothes i wear. Even my mom says she hates the way you talk to me. I just dont think i can see you anymore."

It took me a long time to figure out exactly what he meant by "treat me like ****" but i figure it out. i was so unappreciative towards all the nice little things he did for me and i always complained about the weird way he dresses. On top of that, i was always making fun of him for everything. He could be sneezing funny and i'll laugh at the way he sneezes like a little girl. The problem with him is that he's super sensitive.

but now he's gone and i just realized everything that i've lost. He was so good to me in some ways but so wrong for me in others. But i want so badly to work it out with him. There are a million other things to say but overall, what should i do?

ok so im taking a shower I get out and go to my room.. my boyfriend is sleeping so.. fine Ill let him sleep... so I creep into bed turn the lights off and cuddle next to him so Im laying there and move my head on his chest.. OMG.. his heart was going nuts I meen like WTF nuts.. like really fast and he is sleeping!!so I lay there for a min and it didnt slow down so im like wtf so I get up from scared-ness. My bestfriend been going out with some illegal smoker for 6months, even though she does it too. She been skipping school and already failed 3 classes. She been having sex with him non-stop without protection and not caring. Her parents stopped caring, and all our friends and even me tried to help her, but she rejected it and we stopped caring.

We're all in highschool, she had ideas of running away with him and such. Im kinda scared that the guy is just going out with her for looks (she looks like a 25 y/o, but not the face hah) and everytime a guy hit on her, he ended up hurting her. I dont want her to go through that and i want her to stop skipping and doing stupid things with him.

women always complain about their ex's and how mean or messed up they were towards them so they will ask for a man who is funny, listens to her and wants her man to always be there for her. When they get the man of their dreams they suddenly have a change of heart and start pushing the guy away. I would like to kno why do women do that.
