i met her here on yahoo! answers... some of you know who i'm talking about. she's a resident of the UK... me, i'm in the US. and both of us had been both married and divorced and when we met, initially we both stated that neither of us wanted to get married... but as things happen and evolve and reveal themselves, it turns out that she is the one for me and i am the one for her... perfect soulmates... somehow found each other without really looking and across a huge body of water... (thank you al gore for the interweb). and although we've never met in person, shared the same oxygen, viewed each other with the naked eye... we feel so confident in our spiritual connection that we want to get married. of course, we have to meet for that to occur... but do you think we're completely mad? do you think it's possible to actually KNOW that you've met that ONE PERSON without actually meeting them in person? Is it possible to get to know the inner workings of someone through other means?

i love the desperate comment... lol. the truth is, neither of us were looking to get into a relationship or to get married... and it's not like i was doing horribly here dating locally. it feels like we were brought together for a reason. and it feels perfect. and of course we're going to meet first... and in my long distance relationship experience, my intuition hasn't failed me yet. so i know the chemistry is right on, the emotions are right on and yet it feels different than any other relationship i've ever been in. there's a bit more for you. let me know if you need more info.

hey gorgeous...definitely crazy...but there are worse things than being crazy with each other...and every day we are getting closer to that day....
oh...and girls...it would be so much easier if i were an aggravating ****...the thing of it is though im rather an incredibly
amazing goddess like creature...dryad like...but with an amazing energy, personality, sense of humour and fantastic ego too...
and we know it works for us...

I won't say you're crazy, words are powerful things and you have obviously made that connection.
All I would suggest is that you keep things as they are until you have met face to face. Greater committment will be still there for you as a possibility for the future (near or far) but some of historys greatest lovers couldn't live with each other!
I know you both will meet soon , so I wish you happiness with that and that it turns out to be everything you are expecting.
Although the practical side of things intrudes on the romantic this has also got to be considered. Is it sustainable? I hope so.

Naah, you aren't crazy. Of course you have to meet and spend some time together to be 100% certain but I don't think the idea is insane at all. I think a meeting of the minds can definitely occur prior to seeing each other in the flesh. I've got a friend who met her husband in a similar way and they have been married for 6 years so... yeah anything is possible.

Maybe.. Look yes you may feel this way now but u could feel a different way when u meet her for real. People communicate better writing thing down than actually speaking and if over the phone the same thing. its not impossible but dont lose your head. I have been through this experience the first months were awesome but then it died down after we actually met

the only way for you to find out about how true your feelings are for each other is to meet in person and court for a while..you never know what the outcome is either thumbs up or down.. imagine if you do get married (i know you both dont want right now), but just imagine having a yahoo wedding.. lol maybe they will pay for it :))) best of luck you romantic fool

I think you can really get to know the innermost core of a person this way.The distractions are less.I wish that I could say a face to face meeting couldn't change all of that, but in reality there are factors that can change all of that and I'm not talking about looks either.
I believe everyone has a soulmate and when you find them or don't find them, you gut lets you know.

Hey, if you think it is mutual feelings, I say meet her its not crazy. Two things first, either you have met the real her or just the online her and then its just as easy to tell the truth and to lie. Something like this go with your gut your a grown man.

I think you are over-romantic and possibly desperate.
Enjoy a passionate courtship but don't talk marriage yet, silly! What if she has bad halitosis, or ugly feet, or something that will really start to bug you like she cuts her toenails at the dinner table or has big man hands.
