Okay here's my advice in two flavors:
as a fellow dude: hook up with another girl immediately!
just kidding.
as a concerned citizen: first of all, there's not really a way to give a complete answer without in turn asking more questions (about the relationship, how long it lasted, why you broke up, etc.) If she didn't mean that much to you, it won't take very long. and you'll find someone else. if she meant a lot to you and it was your fault you broke up, it'll be a lot harder to get over. right now, you're probably thinking about why everything went down the way it did and if you're making the right decision about breaking up or not. chances are you won't know for a while. i broke up with my ex after 6 months and it drove me crazy 'cause EVERYTHING reminded me of her. but if you two are completely over and done with like we were and there's no chance in getting back together, you'll get over her in time. there's not really a pill, or method, or anything. but you will. and you'll find someone else (not just a hookup). trust me, i did. hopefully you guys will stay friends!

First of all you need to find closure!!! Realize that it is over. Then you know, give it sometime. Maybe go out with some friends and meet some other girls, but don't rush into another relationship it can only lead you to wanting your ex. Just give it some time, It took time to get to so it's going to take time to forget her. Hope this helps!!!!

you don't. there is a saying "nothing sets something in your mind so much as trying to forget it". You cared for this person, you had special times and now all that is over. you won't forget them, and you shouldn't try. you are now single you have to accept that. enjoy this time as much as possible because you never get a second chance at today. soon you will meet another girl and it will be roses again.

Try to keep yourself occupied with other things like work. Or get some new hobbies. Make new friends. Do something you always wanted to but never got the time or your ex didnt let you!!

There is no easy answer to this question. Time really does heal all wounds, though. Just keep yourself busy, socialize with your friends and do things that make you happy and don't necessarily make you think about her. As time passes, the hurt and loss you're feeling right now will fade. I know it doesn't seem like it right now.

Good question. When you figure it out you can tell me how to get over my ex-boyfriend lol. But seriously, I am spending more time with my friends, who actually care about me. And every time I get the urge to call my ex, I call one of them instead and they talk me down. And Im starting to date again. That helps too :D

dont move on too fast..
its absolutely natural to think about your ex at times
Just every day.. think about her less and less..
Keep yourself occupied in sports or some kind of hobby.. or listen to music
Talk to other girls even..
hope i helped

Time, and separation. try not to talk to her or see her if possible for a while. It will make it easier
