Singles & Dating - 19 February 2007

The guy i'm in love w/and have mentioned on here b-4 tends to have alot of female friends. There's just this one that i'm having a real hard time dealing w/. He's claimed that they've known each other for years and that they are "just friends" and don't mess around. Which is fine cuz i also have a male friend with whom I have the same type of relationship w/. But the last week her furnace went out and he told me that she stayed there while it was getting fixed. I can't help but wonder if she slept in his bed. I told him i was jealous about it and he said that jealousy does not sit well with him. I just don't know how to let it go. I would like to discuss it more with him but don't want to upset him. Or would it be an option to talk w/her about it? That might make him mad too. I just need to find some way to deal with this.

I have this boyfriend named Adam and we can't talk right now because I'm kinda grounded. We see each other at school...walk around, hold hands, kiss....etc. But he complains that we don't hang around that much together. I told him that i was grounded for a month, but then he sits there and says I don't like him anymore, i don't pay attention to him anymore. He even says I'm cheating on him. I try to explain to him but it's very hard!! He's so complicated t talk to. But i really like him........he should know that! What do I do?

I am 22 years old and would like to date, but my parents and church is against it. I was secretly dating someone at 18, but stopped when my parents and church found out about it. I don't want the same thing to occur again and I know they will never see things my way. They believe I should date when I am older and ready for marriage. I really don't know what to do. So my friend and I, who have been good good friends these past few years have recently discovered that we're falling for each other. It turns out these past years he's always had a thing for me. He would tell me i was pretty but never really beleived him. Now that we're "hooking up" - things are going good. The first day we "hooked up" is was just sweet little kisses of pecks and some "full ons" and an arm around the shoulder. The second time was sweet little kisses, pecks, (some on the neck) and his hand around my waist on my thigh. The third time (it's been like a week before the second time) - it was still sweet little kisses, pecks, "full ons", but he was holding me closer and feeling up my a**. Here's the thing though: i don't feel violated at all - actually, it's feels "normal" - guys, was he being perv (which i doubt) and do you think he's going too fast? (keep in mind...after all these years, he's finally got the girl)

I've always laughed at people posting relationship issues on here. But, here I am. But, this won't end in anything resembling "but duz He lyke Me?!?!" promise.

I've been with my boyfriend for 8 months. He's 25, I'm 20. This is the first serious relationship for both of us. He's not been financially stable, but I've been (emotionally) supporting him it's getting better. I've never been head over heels for him. Our feelings have grown over time and he's my best friend and someone I care for deeply.

Still, there's never been that 'spark' or 'click'. He's wonderful but I can't say for certain that I want to be with him over anyone else...there's no 'other man' but I can't say with certainty that he's the only one I want.

I'm moving across country for 1-2 years in September. Asking a grown man to go long distance with you implies something big (like a white dress). We're having fun now, but I don't know if this is what I want for the long term.

I have always dated older men. I do not know why. I am talking 37 + in years and I just turned 28. Whereever I go, bar, club, or on the job, the men who approach me are significantly older than I am. I thought I looked like an older woman but, men tell me that I look twenty. Some say I carry myself well, or like an older woman. I want to know what should I do to pick up younger men when I am out. Id been with this guy for almost 3 yrs we have been on and off, last November we broke up for the first time.. 3 wks later we got back together broke up again in Dec and 2 days later got back together broke up on friday Feb 9 and a few hrs later got back together

My roommate slept with one of our new neighbors. The new neighbor has a bf already and they live together. They live seriously an earshot away, and me and my roomies all have nicknames that change on rotation about every 6 months..... I'm sure you've seen this question in some shape or form before, but please indulge me. What is the ideal dating etiquette for a guy? Specifically, around three things -- (1) asking out, (2) on the first date and (3) after the first date. I'm interested to hear what you girls think about each of those stages. I understand that guys usually do the asking, and pay for the first date as well. What happens after that? Isn't the girl supposed to initiate a second date? At what point does a guy stop initiating (doesn't that look too eager?) Also, if a girl asks a guy on a date, I think it's ideal to split the check on the first date -- or the guy can say something like "I'll get this, you can get the next one". Who initiates a second date in this case? Also, after how many dates do people stop worrying about the "game" of who asks, who pays, who calls, etc and just chill and enjoy each other's company? BTW, I'm in my late 20s, not in high school, but continue to get confused over this stuff!

Does he like me? He is shorter than me and a year older. We are in middle school. We are both single. He staires at me all the time. When I walk by, he stops talking and whispers things to his friends. I smile at him to be nice and he looks like he is hard..(if u know what i mean!!) So do you think he likes me? He also was excited about the dance when he found out i turned down this guy.. Help!
