pick up a 4pm rid up to moutains take a 3 hour house ride down path then to a campsit with a fire and smell of the best food you evr had smelled then cuddle close by fire and lord knows from there

Cheapskates are all around us. If your guy gave you cheap valentine gifts, then I am sorry to say that you may be with the wrong guy. An appropriate gift for someone who has a committed relationship would be a lovely piece of jewelry, flowers and a card. For someone just starting to date, if the guy is interested he will send roses, and take you out to dinner. So, when a guy goes on the cheap for Valentine's Day, it is an indication of things to come. One thing you don't want to do is marry a cheapskate...it will be a life of misery.

What else are you expecting? I personally have never complained about anything I've received on Valentine's Day. It's really selfish when you ask or expect your valentine to go all-out on this one day a year. Why not just be happy he remembered? Obviously he must love you if he got you anything at all. There are so many other things money could be spent on...

Guys don't like being told what to do. Valentine's Day is the world (Halmark and other advertisers) telling them what to do. If he treats you well don't sweat cheap V day gifts.

Or, our guys just don't have the money for it. Sometimes its the thought that counts, not the $$$ spent on it.
