Well my friend that lives in another state wher I used to live just admitted that he wanted to ask me out last year. He told me yesterday thtough IM. I kinda liked him last year but not this year. How do I tell him. If you juts want you can put I dont know or any other answer to get points.

Well, simply tell him that you are flattered that he wanted to ask you out and you think that he is a nice guy, but that perhaps it is best you two just remain friends for now since the two of you live in different states. That way you can let him down easily without hurting his feelings too much.

Hopefully it works without you having to tell him outright that you do not want to date him. However, if he does not get the message or is too persistent, then tell him straight out that you do not like him in that way.

You don't have to be brutally honest, just tell him that you no longer live there, and it's too much of a hassle to have a long distance relationship. Keep it as friends, and if you feel like you might change your mind, maybe you guys can start something later on.

Why don't you want to anymore how can your feelings change so fast and easily. Well just tell him your not interested in him like that tell him you see him as a friend

well if he doesnt like you then say "i'm really glad were friends now" or if he does, dont make him feel like he missed out and say "it would have been better if we stayed friends"
