so this girl tells me that someone has a crush on me and i ask her who it is and she says that she isnt gonna tell me who my crush is. i tell her that she wouldnt have said anything unless she wanted to tell me who it was and she replies w/ idk who it is and that she doesnt know how she knew that someone had a crush on me. now this is by far one the most confusing things girls do. is she lying to me or what? any suggestions as to how i can find out the truth?

I want to let my boyfriend know he's appreciated but i don't want to be like overwhelming or pushy, but i want to make him feel like a man and like he can do anything. If it were my friend or sister i'd probably just send her a card or something sentimental, but for him, I don't really know. any ideas?

I say that her scabs and wounds are something she needs to heal and not just let heal. She will bring up guys from other relationships. She used to have several dogs in her yard and who knows where they went. I want a girl who, you know guys, she can feel it. I yelled and yelled at her outside her house. She finally woke up and did something about my pain.

I met a guy online, talked several nights and met him once. It wasn't a date or anything, he just came by to say hi where I was working. We talked again and decided to go to dinner. He leads a busy life with his job, kids, and community work. I called him tonight to confirm our dinner date tomorrow and got his voice mail. I presumed his kids were still up, so I left a message and called half an hour later at a time the kids should have been in bed, got voicemail again. He emailed me saying to call. I called, and he said he was talking to someone about a needy person they were helping and asked me to call back in a few. I gave him plenty of time and then called again, he put me on hold to finish the other call. I hung up. I feel bad for doing it but I am beginning to realize why his wife divorced him. It wasn't his religious committments, it was neglect. If a guy can't find time for you when you just met, just to talk, what does that say about anything else?

I'm a 19 year old man, (getting ready to turn 20). I date a woman who recently turned 23(doesn't drink, which is awesome for me, don't have to take her to bars). No one thinks we're a strange couple, or taboo because well, I look (as told by others) like I'm 25-27, while she looks like she's 18-20 max. I know both our parents approve of our relationship (a little too much). But what strikes me as strange, is how my 21 year old sister got so much flak for dating a 25 year old when she was 20. Now, I know girls have more to worry about with guys, and an older man just seems like more chance for trouble, but the double standard is nonetheless striking. Ironically, she is now dating an 18 year old, which my parents are cool with (not that they really have a say in who we date anyway since A: we're adults, and B. we both live away from home) Anyways, any thoughts, comments, concerns?

I am 21 years old- grew up in a major metropolitan city in California for most of my life before moving with my parents to this small town a few years ago. I am nearly done with my first college degree (just a few more months!), work in a bank, do modelling on the side, etc. I am also aspiring to become something I always want to be: a lawyer. I have a very loving family and am very close to my aunts, uncles, and cousins. However, because I live in a rather homogenized small town, there is a certain type of culture aquainted with it. I have met many older adults who look down on me because (a) I am NOT married and (b) I don't have any children. And some people my age, who are already married with several children (no joke), view me the same way, unless I am just hallucinating. I feel like I have to prove, just because I haven't found a man who honestly loves me or because I am not a mother now doesn't make me less of a woman. Anyone else feel this way?!

Have you noticed that occassionally you see a black male with a white female, but you almost never see a white male with a black female? Could this be an incompatible joining of pheromones or a cultural thing? Just curious.

I have someone I could go with, he doesn't go to my school though.

My best friend doesn't want to go to prom at all and so I'd be going with my date who didn't know anyone there.

I'm not really friends with a lot of the people in my class. ( I go to a REALLY small private school) so I'm wondering if it would just be WAY to awkward to go?

I have always WANTED to go to prom, and I think it could be a lot of fun, especially if my friend went too...

...should we just have our own little mini prom? get dressed up, go out? but not to the dance?

Any suggestions?

So his friends will come over, but my boyfriend will not allow me to communicate with them. When they try to say "hi" or have any sort of conversation with me,my boyfriend will go into his room and cry. Then later, he will get mad and yell at me for responding to them. And this doesn't seem normal to me. But he says if i care about him then I will ignore them, but I really don't want to seem rude.

I think that I'm better off by myself, although maybe not happy, because the relationships I've had were extremely abusive. My daughter's father almost broke my arm... People tell me that I should get over it and try to be happy, but I don't really trust anyone to allow myself to be happy. I'm married but I haven't seen my husband in a year, he won't allow me to get a divorce cause he says he'd rather be a widower than a divorcee... I don't think I want to be alone for the remainder of my life... but I just don't see myself with anyone. Has anyone ever been through this?

I don't think I'm too ugly, but I have some physical flaws, like goofy ears. I dress fashionably though, and keep myself pretty well groomed. I've just been having trouble talking to girls. They're girls that I indirectly hang out with all the time (they're friends of my friends) but it seems like they're short with me when I talk to them. I was just wondering if a guy being ugly is enough for a girl to not be as interested in being friends. Thanks.

I apologize. If I'm chatting online with a guy I've never met, take the correct precautions while doing such - no giving out address, phone no.,personal info that may track him to me,etc - and I've been talking to him since the beg. of Oct. '06,is this wrong:

Im over 18

I like talking with him, feel comfortable, relate to him in some ways

He lives in my area and Im sure (tho I won't say how) that he is who he says he is

He's a little over 10yrs older than me

Tho I *stress* the importance of being friends first,we sometimes talk about more personal issues

Question has arrived - if I should want to meet up with him and become intimate with him, would that be bad?I have never been intimate with anyone and I feel like it would most likely be him because I'm anxious to do it and get it over with,I'm quiet outside of family and it's mistaken as being stuck up. I want to experience that and lose myself in it.I feel like it wouldnt be a big loss

Is this something I'd regret?

I am more than financially able to move out but the amount of money I am saving is the big reason. I have dated quite a few girls and none of them has seemed turned off by me living with my parents. I have lived on my own for years and know how to take care of myself but.... the money I am saving is great to have.
