I met a guy online, talked several nights and met him once. It wasn't a date or anything, he just came by to say hi where I was working. We talked again and decided to go to dinner. He leads a busy life with his job, kids, and community work. I called him tonight to confirm our dinner date tomorrow and got his voice mail. I presumed his kids were still up, so I left a message and called half an hour later at a time the kids should have been in bed, got voicemail again. He emailed me saying to call. I called, and he said he was talking to someone about a needy person they were helping and asked me to call back in a few. I gave him plenty of time and then called again, he put me on hold to finish the other call. I hung up. I feel bad for doing it but I am beginning to realize why his wife divorced him. It wasn't his religious committments, it was neglect. If a guy can't find time for you when you just met, just to talk, what does that say about anything else?

I don't question that he is a great guy helping those less fortunate but it is obvious a woman is not a priority in his life, although he is looking for someone to suppossedly spend his life with, he really isn't.

2 words: DUMP HIM

Otherwise you will divorce him, imagine him in the future, you have an injury and you are in a life or death situation and you need him by your side, you call him and you tell him what happened, you know what he'll tell you? He'll say, hold on a second baby, I got a phone call from the homeless guy that we saw yesterday, and he puts you on hold for several minutes, that retreives his call,, and tells you that he'll be there right after he sees to homeless ppls. THAT's what'll happen. SooooO:

DUMP HIM

Give up on him. You have already given him plenty of chances to talk. He did not.

Time to move on.
