so this girl tells me that someone has a crush on me and i ask her who it is and she says that she isnt gonna tell me who my crush is. i tell her that she wouldnt have said anything unless she wanted to tell me who it was and she replies w/ idk who it is and that she doesnt know how she knew that someone had a crush on me. now this is by far one the most confusing things girls do. is she lying to me or what? any suggestions as to how i can find out the truth?

It is probably she herself. Just ask her straight up if she is interested in you and I'll bet SHE is.

She's just trying to dodge the question.
And if you think THIS is confusing behavior by women, you just wait. This kind of thing makes perfect sense in comparison to the crap that you see them pull in college.
No offense to any women of course. There is just a gender gap. Women probably are the smarter of the two genders, but for the most part, they use that extra intelligence for evil.

because girls expect you to figure it out. they love that. they want to sound confusing because they want guys to work hard for something they have. she is not lying to you. she's just playing the tease with you. ask her straightforward. if you're prepared to accept that it's you she's talking about. if not then tell her i don't really want to know who it is. if you want you can tell me though. this would drive her nuts.

SHE IS LYING TO YOU!!!! SHE MIGHT BE THE GIRL WHO HAS A CRUSH ON YOU.....OR IT COULD BE HER BEST FRIEND/CLOSE FRIEND. JUST TELL HER YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW....CUS YOU MIGHT LIKE THEM AS WELL. I FIND THAT THE TRUTH COMES OUT WHETHER SOMEONE WANTS IT TO OR NOT....JUST BE PATIENT.
