I don't think I'm too ugly, but I have some physical flaws, like goofy ears. I dress fashionably though, and keep myself pretty well groomed. I've just been having trouble talking to girls. They're girls that I indirectly hang out with all the time (they're friends of my friends) but it seems like they're short with me when I talk to them. I was just wondering if a guy being ugly is enough for a girl to not be as interested in being friends. Thanks.

First of all, what woman like in a man is their self confidence, so you need to work hard on that, but remember not being too confident cuz we hate that! We are not that shallow just to take into consideration looks, for example, I really look for romantic guys no matter their looks, but we girls are different. I would suggest that you try talking to different girls, not only friends of your friends... girls like fashionable guys too, so there is a point for you! Try just saying hi to girls with whom you go to classes with, they probably have cute friends that may be introduced to you!

Girls who ignore you because of how you look aren't good enough for you anyway. Just wait for someone that is special, and who wont judge you because of your looks. Also, just because you think you're ugly doesn't mean you really are. People may find you not ugly at all. After all, my sister thought she was the most hideous thing in the world, and yet people around her has told her she isn't, and she over heard people saying how pretty she is. Anyway, the point is to not be so hard on yourself with looks.

Girls like a guy who is confident, just like guys like girls who carry themselves well. If you are too worried about what the girl is thinking, about your ears, breath, conversation topic....etc...she can tell, and it's a huge turn off. Try talking about stuff that you're comfortable talking about, and eventually you'll lossen up and your personality will shine through!!
Girls like funny guys....but dont try to hard----that goes for your looks too. Don't try too hard. Straight girls like guys, not little girls who spend 3 hours in front of the mirror before they go out.

no being ugly would never be a reason to not even make small talk with a guy, unless they were very very shallow . im sure your not ugly at all...and if those girls wont talk to you then dont evn waste your time trying...go after the ones you know will love you..if your not sure who look for the girl who stares at you at lunch..or occassionally asks you for help with something...or someone you really like

Unfortunately, girls (especially younger ones) do rely on the looks as their first impression of you. BUT, you must appear to be not interested in them. Have you ever noticed that a cat will approach a person that seems the most uninterested in it? Women are the same way. Make fun of them....playfully though, no spitefully. Make them laugh. Showcase your personality! I can't guarantee these will work, but it seems that this is all you are missing. Good Luck! One more thing, BE YOURSELF!

in answer to your question , YES girls egnore you if your ugly, once upon a time women chose men for what they can offer in terms of security, financially etc etc, with the modern day woman being as carefree and self supporting as men, they no longer chose guys for that reason and now are as as shallow as men have been in the past, but it feels like there making up for lost time as so many of them are so far stuck up there own arses even the average looking guy is no longer desired.

that is nt rite dear, bein ugly is not the reason fr no gf's..! u need to be active with nice sense of humour, this will help u in getin nice gf. girls have all kinds of different preferences.. you never know, maybe even a hot girl would like you. might suprise you. you probably have a lot of other good qualities that would attract someone. Some girls like shy guys, intelligent guys, etc.. looks dont matter as much.
