We have been living together for six months now. We've helped each other out with various things in life such as laundry, rides, bills, gas money, groceries etc. He started to get very protective over me and questioned every minute of my day. He didn't want me to see or talk to any other guys except him and I was the same for him. I got a text from a guy that I hadn't talked to in months and I've known him for years. He flipped out on me and thought I was being sneaky. I was upfront about the test when I got it cause he was right there-it was no big deal. We have argued for a week now. We were getting so much closer to each other when that happened and now he won't look at me or talk to me. It feels as if he is trying to purposely hurt me, because he felt betrayed. We care about each other and I do love him. How can I make him understand that I really do love him and the text was a surprise. I feel that he loves me by his words, actions-the little things, but is denying it

My boyfriend and I got engaged last month, we are in a long-distance relationship. I really don't remember what I said but I alluded to not liking my ring (I know it was superficial and stupid) but everything was fine with us for 2 weeks until he started to not call me when he usually does and I started to get mad. I pressed the issue and he finally said that I really hurt his feelings about the ring. I know this I apologized over and over but than he told me he needed to rethink things and he needed a few days to think. Now its D-day and I'm waiting for him to call, and I'm certain that he's decided that he wants to break up. Just because in those few days we weren't talking....we weren't talking and when you're alone you can talk yourself into anything. He always says once his mind is made up there is no changing it so I'm scared as to what to do. I wrote him an e-mail to at least get something in from my end. We never fight like this. What's up?

i have been seeing this guy for about a month. he is very nice and straightforward, he works and has his own place. but i am becoming bored with him, he works 2 jobs and his only free day is saturday and we usually hang out then, he considers himself a simple man, a homebody but it is making me restless as i like to get out and have fun. im used to more excitement in my life and i dont know how to approach him with that. maybe he's just not into me, i mean he is the one that approached me.

I just broke up with my boyrfiend yesterday and I didn't cry or anything. He cried and I felt so bad but I just couldn't go on pretending to be happy anymore. I kinda miss him but not enough to do anything about it. I'm only 17 and he always talked about marriage and children. Yeah my name is [?]. Im an 8th grader. I need help choosing which guy i should actually fall in love with. But i need [YOUR] help. There are two main guys that i like. One is in wrestling and his name is Chad. The other one is training to be America's next Idol. His name is Ethan. I went out with Ethan once already for almost two months. Seriously i broke up with him 2 days before it would have been 2 months together. I was so dumb to do it. He may be goth but i seem like i like him alot. I dated a 30 year old guy for a year and a half. Loved him, was completely loyal to him and treated him very well and with repect. He said he wasn't a cheater, but I found out that he was and that he was stringing myself and another girl along both of us for over a year. I told her and then he popped the big question to her. I have a real problem. . . I work with him and he still picks at me a year after we have stopped seeing each other. He knows I'm intelligent and he asks me for help but I find it extremely irritating and have put up with it for so long that I really want to be immature and hateful to him - please advise!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm from New Jersey , and moved to California in 2003. I'm an African american woman and it is so hard to get a black man around here. Most are either gay or are dating white women. I have no problem with interacial relationships or gay relationships because where I come from everyone dates everyone and I like it like that, but it seems that most black guys have a lot of animosity towards black women out here. I'm not one that breaks out in an attitude or am loud and obnoxious. I'm very positive and always cheerful. I do anything and everything for the ones I love, but I still receive cold shoulders from black guys when I'm out. Now in my past I have never really had great relationships with any of the black men that are in my life, but that doesn't make me bitter towards them.
