Been single for 5 years. I go to work and take care of my family. I don't go many places so what is the best way to meet people and find a special someone.

I've been single for 5 years. I'm a single mother of 3 children. Have gotten used to living the home life. Go to work take care of kids. Therefor, I don't go very many places if it don't pretain taking care of my home and children. I've tried meeting people through the internet and I just don't think it's for me. Where do I go to meet a special someone. I've been out of the bar scene for a long time so bars are not my thing. Anyone out there got any suggestions on how to find a special someone for someone who loves family life and don't get out very often?

It's too scary out there to go it alone. I could spend a few hours telling all my dating horror stories.
I would suggest getting your friends and co-workers involved. They may know someone personally that is a single, good guy, to set up a date for you.
If you go to church, this is also a great place to meet a nice man.
I would suggest also an internet dating site like www.eharmony.com.

In this day and age...I'd say the internet. I met a great guy on Match.com. While there are dangers to meeting someone online, of course, there are also great benefits. I think sometimes people can more easily reveal their true selves when they are typing over a computer or talking on the phone, rather than face to face.

I met my new husband through match.com. It can be a little intimidating to meet someone on line, but it helps you weed out those you wouldn't want and helps you get to know someone a little better before you actually meet face to face.

Yes there are risks. However,,when you go to a nightclub or someplace else, you don't know who you're meeting there either.
You have to use common sence and get to know the person there and then meet them in a public place.
