Do u think a bunch of flowers and chocolates tommorow will bring her round
the supermarket down the road normally sells them cheap by the evening of the 14th

I think you need a reality check here.If you think cheap flowers and chocolates will make her `come round` then you are sadly mistaken.You had an affair with her MOTHER of all people.To have an affair is wrong but on your own doorstep did you think you would never get found out?If you want advice then you should get some distance between you and your wife oh yes and the mother as your wife will need time to calm down and think whether your marriage is worth saving or if she can ever forgive you or her mother.

ok thats a bit below the belt. i would be crying too, especially if its the two people who trust most in the world having an affair.
buying cheap flowers or chocolate is not gonna help the situation. if you would consider doing this and indeed have an affair it sounds as though you dont want to be with her anymore.
you have to decide who you want to be with but it sounds as though you would be best to steer clear of both your wife and her mother. you have betrayed them both in different ways.
the best thing to do is settle this amicably especially if you have children. theres no point blaming your wife for being upset what you did was awful. and you dont sound very guilty or remorseful. do the honest thing and get yourself out of the mess you have created without making it worse.
a few hometruths need pointing out to you, im not normally so harsh

Honestly, you need counseling!!!
Your wife is going through something tough right now, and you are not respecting that. First of all, it was you that caused the drama in her life. She needs time to herself.
Usually in a situation where the husband cheats, the wife goes to her mother for support, but in this case, you've made that totally impossible for her to do!!!
But if this fling is over, you should seriously try to patch things up with her - slowly! She's not gonna leap in your arms just casue it's V-Day. But she will come around if you can prove to her that you still put her first by doing what you can. Like counseling. Couples therapy can do the trick.

Well you should have never had an affair. And definitely not with her mother. A bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates won't work. you have got to grovel, plead, buy her flowers everyday. Then if she decides to forgive you, then she will tell you.

how could u do that? i can see why yr wife is crying. even the whole store's supply of flowers and chocolates will not make her better. what will definitely make it up to her is to stop the affair and be faithful. u have ur work cut out for u.

I think she should sleep with your best friend especially if he is better looking than you are, then she could leave with him and you could take that box of chocolates and flowers to her mother! Hope her mom wins that big prize, you sure sound like a winner, almost like something someone pulled out of there ????!

Whoa dude, if you could get those 2 in the smae bed you would have it made. But if your wife doesn't stop crying you gotta shove a sck down her throat, and kick her the hell out. My wife cought me screwing her 18 year old sister, and I told her well you are now 24 and you are getting fat and ugly, and that no one will ever want her so no use of trying to get a divorce, I also explianed to her until she gets rid of those wrinkles, get a boob job and tighten her @ss up I will continue to tap her sister's fine @ss, she understood and is now losing weight she was 136 and i down to 122 just a few more pounds and get the boobs baby, I keep telling her. But I will still keep screwing her sister
