about a year ago i ran into this guy and we instantly clicked.It was definitly a mutual attraction.i was still bitter about catching my ex of few years cheating(they r mutual friends)he listened and understood,he drove me home that night and i invited him to stay,i asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept,he was such a gentlman.things were awkward when he left the next morning,a mutual friend said he liked me but was freaked about my ex(who is still,1 1/2 yrs later,trying to get me back)so this guy kept his distance.i saw him 2 months later and he came to me and said"your killing me"my ex was also there and upset that we liked eachother.I sent him a text a couple weeks later and he never replied.i saw him again at a party 6 months later,he walked in saw me and looked away quick.my x was at the party also,i know i need to stay away from my x but my brother is best friends with him,so he will always be around.

I have been seeing this guy for about a month and a half and he acts sweet and stuff when we are alone but when we are out with friends he is all over the place and doesn't pay me much attention. Also, he has a tendency to try and prove to his friends he is not whipped when I have never insinuated that he was. When he does this he usually says things that hurt my feelings. I am sure I need to sit down and talk to him, but I am not sure what I should say to get through to him. Any advice?

My boyfriend and I have known each other since we kids and he has always tried to talk to me but I ignored and finally I gave him the attention. Well, long story short... All my boyfriend does is buy me things, cook me dinners, breakfast in bed, goes to the nail salon with me and stuff like that. Then when I say buy me things, I mean he buys me jewlery, cell phone, a car... anything a girl really wants, but my guestion is... Is it a problem if my boyfriend only worries about how i feel and what i want instead of worrying about himself? What should i do??

A coworker sent me an email that I was too weird for him to be friends with because I was sending him mixed signals. We had been close for awhile and I told him it was best that we ignore each other so I can get over my crush on him since he already has a gf. Anyway during all of this, he suggested that the best way to get over him was to sleep with him. I thought he really wanted me because he kept asking if I wanted to do it. Then he told me that I should do it with someone else since he already has a gf. Of course, I felt hurt ,angry, and embarrassed since I told him things that I wanted him to do to me. A few days later I called him a dog via text since he jerked my feelings around, then I felt bad about it and wrote a letter apologizing to him. A few days ago, he looked at me like he wanted to say hi and I emailed him asking him if we could just treat each other like coworkers and say hi. He said I was too weird. I'm ignoring him like he wanted, but sometimes he looks.

I'm interested in a guy who goes to the same college as I do. He's always nice, and friendly, but I don't know if he is interested romantically. He often hugs me (we haven't known each other that long,) or randomly strokes my wrist, and we joke around a lot with each other.

All he does is press buttons on the phone keypad.. so for example i'll ask him something and he'll reply by pressing a button - 1, 2, 3 ,4 , 5 , 6, 7, 8 times - all have different meanings - for example 1 means yes 2 means no 3 means bye and so on...(and we text)

Well you seem like a really cool person, but to be really honest with you, I just don't have time for anything right now. Well I added a random girl off MySpace here in California.. she seemed cute. She left me a "comment" and an email. So I wrote her back saying, "you are cute, do you have a boyfriend?" in a joking sort of way.. was this a good idea, or not? Never met her before just added her off of similar interests.
