Well you seem like a really cool person, but to be really honest with you, I just don't have time for anything right now. Obviously you were already thinking that, considering how long it's been since I first saw you. I really thought I would be able to squeeze some play time in, but the more I try the more it doesn't happen. I'd still like to be friends, you know, hit me up whenever, but I wanted you to know that my time is very limited. I'm not trying to string you along at all, so I wanted to make it extremely clear. Well, Adrian, if you still want to chat, I'd love to hear from you. I really hope you are not offended by this message, I really was just trying to let you know what the deal is with me. Alright, talk to you soon?

This woman showed a lot of class and told you exactly where you stand with her. She could have strung you along but she obviously has a lot of respect for you. I think you should take her up on her offer of friendship, but it has to be with this one exception on your part: Whatever feelings of romance or attraction that you had for her have to be suppressed and kept in the background. This woman is not interested and never will be, that much is clear. If you keep in contact with her and still have hopes of "hooking up" you will only drive her away. If you can't be her friend in that way than don't even bother. Either way you should already be working on your next romantic target because this is a chase that has come to an end. Even cheetahs don't catch every gazelle that they chase.

She's not interested and that was a nice e-mail telling you no thanks.

If you have enough friends..cut her loose.
