I had a crush on my friend and so a mutual friend of ours ended up telling him. He told my friend that he had a girlfriend but he previously told me he didnt. Then later that day I walked passed him but didnt say anything. And later on my friend asked why I ignored him when he said hi. But I didnt, I just didnt hear him. So the next day I hit him on the arm (to say hello) and he said "dont touch me". I dont really know if he was serious. But if he was then should I just go on acting as if I never knew him? Or is their something else that I can do?

Someone I work with has got a new job, so few people from where we work are going out for a drink on Thursday night. Apparently, one of the guys is going to try it on with me at the party. I have made no secret of the fact that a)I have a boyfriend and b)I just don't like him. He's pretty annoying, always trying to impress the other men and failing...badly. And he's kind of creepy. I asked a girl to our valentines dance a few days ago. I'm in 9th grade, and she's in 10th. She's really nice, but when I asked her, she said that she would have to think about it. I talked to her this morning, and she said no, because "She had a bad experience at the valentine's dance last year". Is she just saying that to spare my feelings or is she telling the truth? wants the same things as me. I know men and one just wants a roll in the sack but never takes me out ever.. another says he thinks Im beautiful but never wants to go out and another is crazy about me but I dont care for him. I have never been married and yearn for that kind of love from someone who only has eyes for me. I get so sad about it at times to the point where I think of hurting myself. I have had boyfriends before but havent had one in over two years. I know Im not crazy and never would really harm myslef, But I get quite sad about it often. I want to know for any of you men or women(yes, women) what exactly gives you the right, in that small mind of yours to hit a women? I ask this question because there is zero tolerance for this crime. It bothers me that not enough women don't stand up for themselves. Please don't give me that excuse "I watch my dad do it"!
