Someone I work with has got a new job, so few people from where we work are going out for a drink on Thursday night. Apparently, one of the guys is going to try it on with me at the party. I have made no secret of the fact that a)I have a boyfriend and b)I just don't like him. He's pretty annoying, always trying to impress the other men and failing...badly. And he's kind of creepy. I don't want to be mean to him but how do I let him know I'm not interested without being too cruel?

Go up to him on the day and say to him nicely, but firmly, "Now, don't try anything on with me -- you know I'm not interested". If he does try anything on, you have two options. One is to leave immediately. The other is to say out loud so other people hear "I told you to keep away from me" and slap him on the face.

Just wait for him to ask you out, or make a move. Depending on how he does this you can decide on how to react. Be firm and make sure you aren't sending out any wrong messages. He may think you are intrested. Or he could just be a pig:)

why don't you want to be mean to someone who is disrespectful to you and of your relationship status, annoying, trying to use you to show off, AND making it known he wants to use you? Be mean- he doesn't deserve "nice".
