Do you hit your women?

Question

I want to know for any of you men or women(yes, women) what exactly gives you the right, in that small mind of yours to hit a women? I ask this question because there is zero tolerance for this crime. It bothers me that not enough women don't stand up for themselves. Please don't give me that excuse "I watch my dad do it"!
Please only serious people who are willing to answer.
P.S. This is a personal question( I have someone very dear to me that goes through this ) on a daily basis.

* Again I am not the victim here. I have tried believe me. To the poijnt where me and her don't talk as much, because of him.

I was raised to never hit a woman and so far so good, and I don't think that any male (can't say man, because a real man would not hit a woman) should hit a woman, and yea, I know that there are many women out there that are abusers, and many a lot bigger than many men, but for me, I would defend myself as much as possible, and if it came down to "life or death", then the gloves are off, and its on for survival. But for the most part, I just walk away and return later, or never return. If you have to "hit" in a relationship, then you should not be in one (either of you).

Well, I hope this person has done something to stop the abuse, otherwise your just a loser who is asking people online to help you rather than seeing the police about it. Physical abuse is a serious thing. Noone has the right to violate you in such a way as to leave marks from it. I had a friend who was sexually abused, and never told anyone. She finally told me about 3 years ago. That man still walks free.

Never, It's not an option no matter what she does.
I've seen it before and there's some brain-
washing involved. The abuser has to have total control her. That's why women will stay there,
lie, cover it up. Lose their self respect, dignity.
A friend of mines daughter went through that.
The bastard wouldn't fight me, just beat her.
She finally got out of it and she agrees that
he had her brain-washed. She just couldn't
see any solution at the time when all she had
to do was walk out. Somehow you have to show your friend this.

I don't want no excuses, like "But She loves him" or "It's for the kids" BS. Women who stay in an abusive relationships "Tolerate it everyday"

Put up or Shut up. and get her out, if I'm near by I'd even help.

i have to be honest, she must like getting beat everyday coz she's still there, isn't she? don't say 'nowhere to go' crap! if your such a dear friend why dont you take her in?

i believe that if a woman hits a man she should get the same treatment, but I DON'T MEAN GETTING BEATE REGUARLY!!

Know matter how hard I try, I can never come to hurt a person. If a Guy ever pushed me, or hurt me, in any way that hurt me physically, I'd smack him back, and I can hit really hard if I try.
