Most people I know (including myself) are afraid to make the first move when they see someone they like. But are there also people who just go for it and don't even think of possible negative consequences? Who just try and talk to that specific person without even being nervous at all.

he has been unfaithful,unloyal,disrespectful.i am not that way.i have been true.he has asked me to hold on and that he's changing.how can that be possible?he claims he's never been in love till now.no one has ever put up with his games and stayed by his side till now huh?his cheating has caused me to move out and get my own place.he is still holding on and i dont what for?he's asking me to be to be patient ,how much am i supposed to take?am i being foolish?since i already made that 1st. step to move out .,should i now move on despite my love?am i being impatient?i asked him why is he holding on to me and he says because he cares and loves me and i am teaching him to change his ways in ways i am not even aware of. is that a crock of bull**** or what?

I'm 38 , she's 37 and we've had our very close friendship for the past 13 years. I happen to love her vey very much , She's number one issue in my life . I've invested an enormous amount of time & effort and feelings in her. My friend has problems connecting with people , she's a very demanding & difficult person to deal with. This has left her with very few friends & far-between & unsuccessful relationships.
As of lately , I've mustered enough courage to tell her about my feelings. We've had a very long discussion about it. The conclusion is ; even though she thinks very highly of me as a friend & as a person ,she is unable to make the transition in her mind from the 'Friend" to "lover".She thinks this transition is almost impossible.I wasn't really convinced , but Ok.Our friendship continued for a month or two.Then I reopened the love talk and she said nothing has changed.
Do I stand a chance with her ? If yes..how ? If not ...I weep ....:-(

I've been friends with this guy for about a year and we are really good friends, we talk about eveyrything. Over the summer we "hung out" a lot and i got liking him more and more. i've liked him ever since, but ididnt ask him out cuz i thought it would ruin our great friendship if he didnt want to be more than just friends. The other day he said yes to a chik who asked him out, even though he tells me that they dont even talk or anything. Last night i was IMing him and he said that i should get a boyfriend and that if i want to go out with someone i need to ask them instead of not doing anything about it. Recently hes been acting like he might like me, like he always scoots closer when we're standing or sitting next to each other, he tries to touch me in little ways that he doesnt think i'll notice but i do (on the arm, "accidentally" brushing against me, etc), and he gets uncomfortable talking about girls to me even thogh he did before. what do you think about this?

The internet has more and more created dating sites. You chat with someone and swop pictures and sometimes see them through the webcam. People find it easy to flirt from home and not always have the time to do it face to face because of other commitments. Do you think it is a serious way to look for a true love?

I have been with my boyfriend for 4 yrs. I am 28 he is 41. Everything was fine until he went back to work for his family. Now his brother is not paying him and owes him about $3000. Every attempt on my part to help him get a different job has falled upon deaf ears. I live with him in his home and because I don't have enough money to leave and get my own place I have to move to my grandmother's home. I don't know what I should do. Any advice would be very appreciated. Also who do I contact if I believe he will give me problems if I move out?

I posted a question some time ago 4 advice where my boyfriend & I had a nasty argument & said things to hurt each other. I hit "below the belt" & made insulting comments about his mom & son. This was 3-4 weeks ago. Things have been tense with us since. He hasn't been calling me but I sent xmas gifts to him anyway & I sent his Mom flowers. I requested "same day" delivery (which would be yesterday) but I didn't get confirmation until TODAY that she got the flowers yesterday @ 4pm. Now I'm wondering why neither of them called to say Thank You? I'm also wondering if his Mom knows about the argument we had where I said bad things about her & maybe that's why I didn't get a THANK YOU for flowers I sent. I asked by boyfriend back then if he told his Mom about the argument, he told me "No", that he doesn't discuss his personal biz with his Mom. I'm wondering if he lied & told her what happened & that's why I haven't heard a Thank you. I want to CALL HER & ask but something's telling me not to.

I'm seeing someon who's great, however the ex still bugs. He tells her he's trying to move on w/ his life & she makes him feel bad by throwing past in his face, which affects him. I know you can't forget past relationships but it's irritating me & making me feel awkward when he tells me about it. I can't tell him to not tell me about it, but I don't want to hear about it. iv been with my boyfriend 6 months.. th other day he
gave me my christmas present! i had to take a look and
see what it was once he had gone... it was a neckelace and
a bracelet.. it looked as though he had spent about 10 pound on the two items. maybe not even that.
i was just shocked... iv spent about 40 pound on him and thought i was the one that was going to feel bad!!
does it mean he just doesnt really care or like me as much as he makes out??

My bf is better than me in every aspect. He is borned in a rich family, he is smart and is studying in a good college now. He is gd looking and everything. And this gives me a lot of unnecessary stress. And apparently, he wants his future spouse to be of the 'same standard' as him which I dun think I can make it. I'm born in a poor family and my results ain't fantastic. I'm scared tat I wont be able to make into a University. He didn't voice out tat he wants me to go uni, but I can feel. And I'm damn stressed up and upset. Why I couldn't be there with him?

I just got out of a relationship. He was NOT the right guy for me. I don't want to get back together, but I miss him and I love him. This really hurts. Going out to the bars all the time isn't going to help. I don't want to just pick up somebody else. What do I do to help me move past this?? No, I don't want revenge or anything like that.
