I'm seeing someon who's great, however the ex still bugs. He tells her he's trying to move on w/ his life & she makes him feel bad by throwing past in his face, which affects him. I know you can't forget past relationships but it's irritating me & making me feel awkward when he tells me about it. I can't tell him to not tell me about it, but I don't want to hear about it. Should I just break things off and leave things as friends until he settles his issues w/ her?

If you think there is a possibility of them working things out, then why waste your time and feelings??? But if your sure he's done and you feel he's worth it, then let him know how you feel!! You have a voice, now use it..lol

You should end things for now because it's not fair to you that you are being caught up in their relationship. They both are not completely over each other if all of this is still going on. He needs to cut off communications with her completely if he really wants to move on.

I think breaking off would be good. The x factor will just cuase undo stress. Until the past is worked out move on.

I have an ex-husband, and my husband and I have been married 9 years. Just tell this ex that it's none of your biz about what happened between them. You don't want to know. Then sit down and talk this over with him. If he is really that important to you, you owe it to yourself and the relationship you two are working on.Good luck!

I would politely ask him not to talk about his EX and tell him why, every time he start talking about her change the subject. if he persists in talking about his EX kick him to the curb and tell him to go back to his EX that you have heard enough about her that you are moving on.
