I believe that you are using it as a defense mechanism to avoid getting hurt. Love is a beautiful feeling and we all deserve to experience it. Good luck!

No you should not run from it. Running for love could cause you to be lonely in life. You may end up pushing off you future husband or wife. I have been through this situation and I just now stoped running from it and I have found the greatest person.

Live is too short to continue running from this super experience. Even if your heart has been broken a number of times it always will heal as it is a very strong organ. The most natural thing for all of us is to have the feeling of being wanted, needed and loved. Love will catch up with you someday and hopefully you'll catch the bug also. Best of luck and believe in yourself please.

You need to find a place inside you where love feels it's best. Lust is a curse, and should be utterly ignored. If you run from love you may have a hard time getting it back, and you will want it back. Love is the only thing we ought share amongst one another!

No, I firmly think you shouldn't.

My guess is that you're running away from love because you're afraid of getting hurt. Love and fear don't exist well together. Let go of that fear, and enjoy love. Even if you do get hurt, be glad for the times of love that you've had.

During high school, I did the same thing. I'd date guys, but if I felt that it was getting too serious, I'd leave. I never had a relationship go past 3 1/2 months.

I dated one guy, and broke up with him after 2 months. We spent a year apart, no communication. In all truth, breaking things off with him, to prevent heartbreak, only lead to heartbreak. I truly broke my own heart. Then he came back, and kissed me. He wasn't going to let me get away. We're now married. :)

It just takes time to fully trust someone and that they aren't going to break your heart.
