Singles & Dating - 23 December 2006

Im going away early next yr to Oz and will be gone for a year possibly 2? When i made this decission i split up with my gfriend of 4yrs as i thought it was unfair to carry on our relationship as she at Uni and would have a great time if she single, plus ill be 10000 miles away and would never see her. Now 6 months later we have started going back out, she has slept with someone else in this time-which is a bit of a turn off. Also i dont feel like i have my independence now, she says any decision i make i would have to see what she thinks first. I think i still love her-but not sure if getting back with her is the right thing, and scared to hurt her feelings AGAIN! I just wanna be able to do what i wanna do when i wanna do it, but not to hurt her feelings. When im with her i feel i miss what we had and when im not im kinda of regreting making up. I really dont know what to do?

Ok so my boyfriend and I have been dating for over a few months.
I really like him and I love being with him. The only thing i dont like is the way he dresses.. He will ware like the same jeans everytime I see him and ware a tee shirt.. Not Cute at all... I like guys who are preppy and care what they look like but he is lacking in that department... He aslo has these shoes that hes had for years and they are UGLEY..... Now my problem is that i dont know how to tell him it bothers me without him thinking that i think he dresses bad.... what do I do

ok, so i'm a relatively shy 8th grade girl. i have a lot of friends and i'm pretty sociable around them...i feel comfortable around friends, guys or girls...except for cute guys. i get so nervous and i clam up around guys i like. i don't think guys that i like are really ever seeing the true me when i'm around them...i'm just too shy and i can't express myself. most girls i know already have a boyfriend or are flirting with everyone and having fun...i'm not sure where i should be right now. i think that me being shy has caused me to kinda miss out on getting to know some nice people, but i'm not ready to like make-out or go on dates and stuff. like is it weird that i am 14 and haven't had a boyfriend before?

My boyfriend broke up with me because he said he couldn't be with a non-christian girl. His church and family wouldn't allow it. He knew I was catholic from the beginning and I knew he was christian. After 2 mounths of going back and forth w my ex we keep on talking to each other. I still love her. She says she doent want to think about us like that anymore n doesnt want to try and work things out. Last night i called her. We kept talking till i sliped i was planig on proposing to her in june she was shocked "Wow" and "oh my god" was all she could say. I kept talking n well it lead me to cry and then she started 2 cry. Why would she cry she is the one that dumped me and i am the one pursuing this. All i want from her to think about all of this. The relationship lasted 4 yrs n we both always talked about kids n marrige. The break up came from nowhere only that she felt no romantic connection. I always gave her 100% i gave up parts of my life to be with her. I always told her how i felt and now this. Niether of us can stop calling one another. my only question is why would she cry over this, if this is what she wanted? I sent her a email telling, i will leave her be as best as i can.

Well Im kind of nervous about all of this , but at the same time im very excited. 15 of us rented a house for the New Years weekend in Las Vegas...My mom said I could go , and Ive been with him for 7 months pushing 8.
