You are going to think back on this at 21 and wonder what all the fuss was about.
The years you're heading to are HUGE change years. When you reach 21, you will have a hard time thinking back to 16. Your tastes will change drastically.
I am VERY thankful that the girl I wanted at 16 didn't work out.

I know this is cold comfort now, because you're IN this mess and not looking back at it. All you can do is tough it out and not think of permanency. Enjoy these years; permanency will come soon enough.

Sometimes what we want is not what is best for us. A lot of growing up or maturing takes place in the next few years. Give yourselves time before making what is designed to be a lifetime commitment. You can still talk and plan for a future but wait at least a few years before marraige. It is great that the two of you are good friends! Talk openly and listen. You are developing skills in communication that will carry you through a lifetime. Learn to love and laugh and grow in your relationship over time. Take Care!

Umm there is a way to marry withought being 18. The way is getting a marriage certificate which has to be sighned by your current gaurdian giving you permission to do so and ofcourse both individuals must want to get marry. I know how your feeling I am inlove with someone to im also 16.

My advice to you is have some patience and wait till the time comes ,when you are old enough, Right now is not the time, stay with him till you are old enough then marry him and have nice faamily, Don't get so hasty right now learn to wait go will do the rest.hey slowly let him understand you love and don't forget to give him a gift for chrismas and new year (that will do bext xD)

Please! Please! do not do it. Marriage is not as easy as it sounds. Even the best couples have problems. Complete high school, go to college and if is still there than marry if you have n't changed your mind. One of the biggest problems in relationship is money. If you are 16 than you probably haven't established yourself. Love doesn't pay bills. He may be supportive now however, after a while he may get tired of paying all the bills and supporting you. He may treat you like a child instead of his partner. Don't open a can of worms.

I met my first husband at 16. (I only have two) we were married at 19 and were married for 10 years. I have a friend who was married at 17. and is now 40+ and still happy. For it to last is so improbable. You will only be a teen for a very short time...You will be grown up FOREVER!

honey marriage isnt all it is cracked up to be living by your self only you and your husband has to come up with a way to pay the ,pay the rent, and eat i dont think you will be married long why not get an education first so that you can support yourself and then think about getting married you are just too young and irresponsible.

you don't have to be a certain age to know what love is. i was in love with my highschool sweetheart for years. i still am, but we just aren't together. you may love this guy, but don't jump into marriage right away hun. get your schooling done, and if things are still the way they are and they are mutual, then consider the fact of marriage. good luck. and don't listen to anybody who says that you are too young and don't know what love is.
