She broke up with me Monday because we kissed and she didn't feel a spark. The problem is that she doesn't want to lose our friendship and she wants us to hang out more even though we aren't dating. She wants to go with me to registration and ice cream and stuff. But there's a guy that told her he liked her and she said she was unsure if she liked him back. What does this mean and what do I do?

Question Details: Here is the deal: My daughters father and I split up when I was still preg and he went back to his ex. They married and had a baby also. He and I really had something (not just my opinion-his and outsiders as well) and everyone knew that he wasn't supposed to be with her but he did anyway, recently they split and he's seeking divorce. (Regardless of what happens I will not fool with a marrried man). Here in the past he and I had been having a lot of communication problems with the care of our child together so we were not very pleasant to each other. I know this was because we both still had feelings there for each other but couldn't be together. He's now expressed that he plans to get me back, he said he knows I am the one he is supposed to be with. Well I am a very cautious person and don't know how i feel about him and the idea of trying again yet. I know I have feelings for him just don't know if they are real or just missing the past we had. i have had a very hard mouth my aunt just got out of jail , my boyfriend that ive been going out with for 3 mouths is haveing 2nd thoughts abot us,my uncle is in jail my sis is in rehab!!!!!!!!!

We've been seeing one another for about 4 months now. We live an hour apart with no change in the near future for that. He's got 2 kids and is divorced. I've got 5 kids and was never married. (we're both 30) He's been reluctant to introduce me to his family because he doesn't know how they will react to me having so many kids.
I told him I've never been to a New Year's party before, so he's throwing one for me at his place. His parents are going to be there, and this will be the first time I meet them. (My kids will be at my mom's for a sleep-over) I'm so worried that they won't like me. What can I do to get over these nerves?
*Oh, I also bought x-mas gifts for his mom, dad, sister, and his mom's dog, and his daughters. I'm bringing them down to his place on Friday so his family will have opened their gifts from me before I even meet them face to face. I'm also nervous that they won't like the gifts I got them.
I'm just one big jittery mess! I just want them to like me.

Do guys like girls with short hair? Seriously, I am a young woman who has had short hair for a while, mostly because I look awful with long hair. But I look around and every guy I see, is dating a girl who has long hair, even if she is really fat or has bad acne or a nasty personality. And what kills me is that these are really attractive guys! So is the short hair a turn off? Why?

Here is my problem: I am 40 and she is 20. We have gone out to dinner 4 or 5 times this month. She has spent the night several times, simply plutonic too, but she usually curls up next to me throughout the night. She calls me every night before she goes to bed usually 10:30pm and calls me again when she wakes up usually 4:30am. We have never kissed or done anything sexually. What is your out take on this? I ask this question because in today's society unfornately it seems that people are treated based on apperances( at least that's the way it seems to me). I am treated very poorly by people because they say I look very mean (although I am not upset about anything at all) when I am actually one of the nicest people you will want to ever meet and that's the truth. And also because I am very introverted people also treat me badly like the people on my job and every place else. Because of this, I don't go out at all unless its to work and back home because I can't deal with the constant criticism from people. If you were me what would you do? Now before you answer the question, let me provide some examples, so I can better attempt to ask my question.

If no one trusted their lover, would the chances of couples being tested for STDs go up? If no one trusted their lover, would the number of couples that always used condoms go up? If no one trusted their lover, would people find out sooner that their lover was cheating on them? If no one trusted their lover, would (I am assuming mostly women based on some statisticsI read) people have less of a chance to marry someone just so they can get divorced and take half?

Another example, er story. My friends dad has just filed for divorce after his wife cheated on him, and they were married for 20? years, now he has had to sell his house, car, jeep, and more but what really broke him, was he was forced to sell his Harley. He doesn't have a lot of money anymore.

So I ask the QUESTION once more would the (love) life's of everyone benefit from global distrust?

So this girl is a 8 years older and done having kids. I am 24 with no kids but I really want my own. So we aren't compatible. We both really like eachother but have never gotten past our age difference. She kissed me on the jaw once.
