Seriously, a girl's looks DRIVE a man. The rest, completes him.
It's unfortunate but true, men dig beautiful women. Now, assuming you are 120 lbs or less, and know how to dress yourself classy but not like a tramp or a prude, here are the "other" things we're looking for:
1) Personality - Someone who loves to laugh and have a good time. Someone that's not uptight about every little thing. Someone who's ready to rock n' roll in a moment's notice. We HATE lifeless, moody, or chicks that flirt with other guys, not a good sign.
2) Brains - If you can add, subtract, multiply, and divide, it's a plus. You might even carry a decent job without the fat head that comes with it. It's just a job. We love women, not women trying to be men.
3) Athletic - I personally like a girl that can run, pass, wrestle, whatever. A girl that knows how to drive an automobile. One that has beautiful nails but is not afraid to break one.

Looks sadly are probably the most important thing to most guys, but there's good news, it's in the lead only by a narrow margin...for me and most guys I know, a good sense of humor and the ability to hold an intelligent conversation are a close second and third.
The latter is of course arbitrary...dating a guy who likes football? Guess what he's going to want to talk about? Don't want to talk about football? Then it's probably best to move on. I've met plenty of random women in my life and believe me, looks are only part of the equation; if I can't talk to her, then it doesn't matter how good looking she is.

I like a good laugh. I enjoy telling jokes and would staight act a fool to make a girl laugh. I enjoy makeing people i care about smile. Telling a joke or making a silly face or what ever so a bad laugh is a huge turn off for me. A cute giggle is so much more important to me than a girls looks.

Besides looks, I look for a good personality and intelligence. A good sense of humor can also go a long way. But it boils down to looks, especially in today's society.

Most guys would look for personality in a women except that they get stunned when they see that she's hot. Dave Berry said once, "Males cannot look at breasts and think at the same time". So, as I said, men look for personality until they get stunned by the beauty of a chick.

I look for personallity first and foremost..Next is the question of loyalty,if i am talking to a girl and find out she has a boyfriend that she is fixing to break up with,thats never a good sign...and she has to have a little common sence,can't be a total durr..lol,thats about all i know accept the obivous things...like hygene,etc..

* look, looks are an important part of being todays human being, thats our way of attracting the other sex,period. some people get lucky by meeting people who have more to give like humor, smarts,tenderness,and real love of life,but the majority fall between number 1 and 5.

Knowing her place in the relationship.
The ability to keep quiet when they should be doing housework.
Able to make a fine meal on time, and with loving care.
But a nice butt doesn't hurt either. Or tons of cash.
If all that fails, men will settle for a kind, fun and intelligent personality.

Nothing. Geez, when will girls get this. Looks are the only thing that matters. When a guy says personality, he is lying. When a guy goes out with an unattractive girl, it's because he can't do any better.

Funny...intelligence..not always griping and complaining. Willing to give him HIS free time, and not freak out over it. At the same time, don't be a doormat. I can't stand women that are stupid, or that have no self respect.
Most importantly I think, is you have to be who you are. Yes, if he's into baseball, you can learn baseball and share that. But if you're someone who changes everything about herself to please him, eventually you'll hate yourself, and him, for it.
