She broke up with me Monday because we kissed and she didn't feel a spark. The problem is that she doesn't want to lose our friendship and she wants us to hang out more even though we aren't dating. She wants to go with me to registration and ice cream and stuff. But there's a guy that told her he liked her and she said she was unsure if she liked him back. What does this mean and what do I do?

it sounds like somewhere...deep down...she still likes you. she may be denying her feelings or even scared of them. but from the looks of it, she feels safe with you, and doesnt want to leave.

Totally your call on this one. You like the girl, obviously, and probably would like her as a girlfriend. If she doesn't want that, you just need to decide how to handle it.

Was the timing of the kiss just not right?
Is she really interested in someone else?
Does she honestly just want to be friends?

Nothing wrong with having a girl as a friend, as long as she's cool, doesn't stop or interfere with you dating other girls, or doesn't "use" you as a "date when I have no one else to be with".

Just up to you..can you handle that, seeing her with some other guy?

Take a quarter and flip it. Heads - Stay as friends, Tails- leave her. Before the quarter even hits the floor, your heart and mind will be hoping it's one or the other. That's the answer :)

It sure sounds to me like she's "using" you. Especially since you didn't say what >you< want... only what she wants. She may be using you to get closer to that other guy. That's just plain wrong.
I'd almost bet that, if you told her you don't think of her as a friend any more, she'd feel that spark ("spark"? she's seen too many movies) If you continue to be at her beck and call, she'll no longer feel challenged and will probably think you're a wimp. If anything, tell her you'll go get ice cream if she pays.

She is not sure if she is ready to give you up or not. Maybe she is hanging around hoping for the spark. Who knows she sounds a little confused. Don't worry about her think about what you want. If you don't get too emotionally involved patience may pay off or you might get a good friend.

This girl wants to have her cake and eat it, you gotta' play this dude b4 it's too late, tell her you need space and drop the cold wall, yeah i know you like her, stop being a pussy, snap out of it, no other girl is gonna come close while she's there. All this friendship stuff does so soon after a break up, is twist the knife, if you stand up straight and push her away, gently, she will come back, believe.Don't let this girl rule you, she doesn't know what she wants, it's up to you to show her, put yourself first.O.K.
Be the man!!

She probably realized that she broke up with you for a very stupid reason. Now she wants you back, but is too selfish to apologize and ask you out again, she's waiting for you to do it. You need to let her know that your feelings are not a game. Think about it, she doesnt have the right to play around with you like that. Or whether she lets you get over her, or she goes back to you...this is not fair for you.

She may have broken up with you because there is someone else who likes her and she may like him too. She wants to remain friends to keep you close, just in the event where she doesn't date the other guy, she has you to fall back on. Trust me, your ex's can never be good friends with you. I shouldn't say never...it's rare that that is the case. Basically, she is keeping you around just in case she doesn't have anyone, she has you to turn to. Don't be fooled by this. Its okay to remain friends, but be very careful. She's only telling you half of the story.

You have to be friends first, build some trust & interest. If you like the girl whats wrong with hangin' out as long as you both remember it's just as friends. You can never have too many! Also, how you treat exes now will affect future relations.....girls talk!

stay with the friendship! dont be a chicken! yous ee, when a gurl brokes up with you it doesnt mean that she already hates that guy. friendship for us is important especially with the ex's! i min, somehow they become a part of us and hard to forget! When she invites you over for ice crim and stuff, for you thats just a simple thing,.but mind you gurls just dont ask guy on simple things. we must be very comfortable with the guy who are with to invite them out! for her maybe you didnt connect in a romantic way but as i can c it i tink you both connect in a freindship level! but did you know that everything starts in friendship?

hope this helps..

It sounds like she is unsure of herself, and her not wanting to be with because of a spark that she didn't feel, well that my friend is insucurity of almost everything. If you still like her tell her, maybe she will come around. Where she still wants to hang out with you all the time is because she still likes you and she wants to get to know you better because of not being sure of what she wants, and who she wants to be with. I would ask her if she still cares about you and if she wants to get to know you better. Ask her if she insucure of herself.
