Singles & Dating - 20 December 2006

My girl and me have not talked for three weeks now. She told me not to call her, not to email her or have any contact with her. She does this every few weeks, months or whenever the mood strikes her. Usually she picks the fight. I'm not saying I'm perfect but I've done more for her then she's ever done for me and because I don't like confrontation, I don't pick fights with her. I sent her a very expensive Christmas gift and it was delivered to her on the 19th. She has yet to email and say thank you or anything about it but she kept it. I would think if she was that mad at me, she would have told them she didn't want it. Should I leave her alone or should I continue to email her and talk as if nothing is going on? She ignores my emails. This is nothing new. After a while she starts talking to me again. My friends say she's giving me the run around because I allow her to and she knows she can come back whenever. What should I do?

What age where you when you first started dating? Where did you go on dates? What was the best date that you've been on? How long did your first relationship last? How long has/did your current/last relationship lasted? What would you say the best gift is that you've gotten from a boyfriend or girlfriend? This is about a guy who feels he is with "the one" but cannot shake the feeling of wanting to have discrete fun with another woman, and afterwards he feels horrible but again eventually the urge comes back...he feels this is how he keeps the rel going and interesting....plz read....

basically i will start off i met this girl in the libary and we have meetings with the group and we always have debates about stuff and she always dissies me but in a flirty way and i do the same and she always looks at me and i look at her 2 wen she not looking oviously but wen she cusses me sum tymes i just say u look beautiful 4 sum reason she goes very shy and smiles at me i i asked for her number and she sed not for now so after this chrismas holiday we have one more meeting and after that i might not see her again so shud i ask 4 her number on the last day but wat if i get rejected

I have this guy friend at work and have known him for six months. We are in a team of 8 other workers but it's only me he's really taken to. So far we have been out to the movies and for a drink, me being the one asking!! And hopefully we are going for a milkshake on Saturday. He is so open with me, tells me about everything and messes about so much, singing and dancing about and as soon as someone else is about he stops. He's very quiet around everyone else but as soon as it's just us two he really lets go. He's so funny and is forever making me laugh and he looks at me for ages sometimes with a smile on his face. He mucks about by jokingly blaming stuff on me like oh thats ur fault!!and funny little comments about me. He's had a lot of problems in his life and his family have really let him down, so that could be a reason why he's not wanted to take things further, maybe he's scared that he might end up losing me too. Do you think he does like me more than a friend?

Hi. Here's the scenario: A close friend (girl) invites me up to her house (almost 200 miles away!) for the weekend. We go shopping, ice-skating, go have lunch in a restaurant. I go back to her house, meet her nieces, brother's girlfriend, mum and dad etc. I put my over-night bag in the room that's been set aside for me. After dinner, we then go upstairs to watch films. Cut a long story short, she gets into bed with me, and we are cosy for the night... nothing happened apart from kissing.

The next week, when I'm back home, I send text messages to ask how she is etc, but get no reply. I go to my myspace page where she's on my friend list, and she's taken me off it! Then I try to ring her, and she cuts me off!

The next day, she texts me and says "sorry i couldn't text, i didn't have any credit, and I've not been on myspace for about a month, so something's gone screwy with it..."

So, then, I don't get any more texts off her! What am I to think?

I had a friend who was a 35 year old divorced mother of 3 who had bipolar disorder.Now first off i'm not just saying it's all her behaviour because I know I can try and control myself.Since we broke our FWB relationship off due to jealousy and mixed feelings I have been trying to contact her and apologise for my behaviour, now she has reported me for harrassment!!!

Thing is it's not just me who finds her addictive, her ex-husband used to be a college lecturer now after 14 years of marriage they are divorced and he is now suffering with depression and jobless. She also has restraining order on him

Also her ex-boyfriend had a tendency to wait outside her house in a car watching her
I spoke to my best friend and he said sounds like she enjoys mind games, when I mentioned it to her she even said "do you ever think it's me that makes men like this"
I find it strange how one person can have so much power and I would love to break away from this. Does anyone know anybody like this

He moved all the way from Tampa to Kentucky. Of course, I don't think he was satisfied with his life there, anyway. I kind of get the feeling that he just wants a home.....not necessarily a close relationship.

I feel bad for him that he moved this far. I feel too guilty to kick him out. But, the truth is....he just isn't the one for me. And, I don't think I am exactly what he wants, either. Yet, he seems so content just to have a roof and be in a family environment. I feel sorry for him.

What am I gonna do????

My weirdest experience was when I was a recent college graduate. We went out to a bar for some drinks. We each had one drink, and he rushed me out of there. When we got back to my place, in the time it took for me to walk across the room and put my purse down, he was completely naked, except for his socks! I was horrified. It was a first date, and I was unsure how he got that impression of me. I was also amazed at how fast he was able to disrobe!!! I still laugh about that one!!!

here is my problem my ex g/f of 4 years broke up with me she has anarexica ,i'm fine with not being her boyfriend but want to keep our friendship it's been 5 wks now for the last 6 months we have not slept together that much i think she still loves me but can't with her problems she needs to love herself first.she has confussed me with what she said when breaking up with me like staying friends with extra's still buying me a xmas prestent etc; i have pushed her a bit like anyone would so she said then she did'nt want me.i got a xmas card in the post + was not happy b/c i expected it in person so i sent it back saying this.thing is i think she does love me still.She said she will call over xmas and arrange to see me i will not push her or expect to get back with her just i really care about her as a person and it seams she is pushing me away when i no she needs all the friends she can get.One thing that might of caused this is i think someone told her i've been having a good time!!!!!
