Years ago a friend asked me if I would ever settle. At the time I said hell no; however, I was dating a girl I really liked and could not imagine being the lonely bastard that I am now. So, I'm a lonely bastard now and I am compelled to settle. However, I'm finding settling has a lot more problems than going for a chick I really like. Have you ever settled? Did it work out? Did you encounter any problems settling?

Even though I'm 26 I don't know what kind to buy. I'm divorced so I haven't had to use a condom in a LONG time. Well I've been dating this guy for a couple months now and we have been talking about be coming intimate with each other. I know I can talk to him about this but I want to just have some around the house for whenever the time does comes. But I'm just wondering what are some of the condoms that you guys use. There are just soooo many to choose from and as dumb as it sounds, I'm clueless.

I casually dated someone in the Navy for three months before he was deployed. We never made anything official, due to the fact that he was being deployed for seven months. We have great chemistry, and he has taken to telling me he loves me. I felt the same way, but was scared to say so until he did. I know how "lonely" things can get over there, so I make sure to keep in touch and be the good friend that I am. I am just concerned that the 'love' he feels is more like being grateful and happy that I care. I want to believe that what we have is real, but I'm scared.

If not, What age were you whne you lost it? Was it with "the one?" or did you just take advantage of a good opportunity? Were you happy with the outcome or did you regret it after? Did you satisfy your mate or could you swear he/she feigned satisfaction to cater to your ego?

My GF is almost obsessed with thinking that I’m cheating I’m not but there is no convincing her. I've always herd that people that are cheating always acuse their partner of cheating. Could this be the case here? I attribute it to her last relationship, the guy cheated on her repeatedly and now she is convinced that no man could turn down a piece of a.s.s We could just some chose not too. Ladies what do you think is the case? Is she cheating or just traumatized??

Last night, during "pillow talk" I asked my husband what had attracted him to me in the first place. He said that the night we met (in a gas station waiting for a girl to count out her till so I could buy my milk and go home) I had mentioned that I was in a hurry to go see my daughter and check on her because she'd been sick. He said the most attractive quality in a woman is if she's a good mother- anyone think he was serious?? or just trying to get some by being sweet?? lol

I have been dating my guy for about a month, but I have know of him most of my life. I love him and don't know how to tell him. I am scared that he will think that I am childish telling him that i feel like that after only one month. But i have to keep catching myself. I just want to scream it out.

I just don’t know how to go about it, I am 19 years old, I live in my own apartment and have a 2 year old daughter. My boyfriend just recently turned 41. Now he is younger then my parents (they are in there late 50's early 60's), but he is still more then twice my age! We have been seeing each other for a while and have had very many serious talks about our future and what we would want from it. It’s obvious that the relationship at this point and time is in for the long haul (he would like to get married one day and has voiced this to me on more then on occasion). I feel fully confidante of our relationship, my only concern is brining this obviously older man, that’s grey and going a bit bald, to see my parents... and advice?

In early summer, my mates girlfriend left him out of the blue (they were living together and were going out for a year) and it's totally f*cked him up. He's not really had the best pick of relationships since I've known him.

I've been an ear to him over the last 3 months and he's told me he's into this girl who's also helped him through this relationship too. He doesn't want to tell her because "he's too scared of rejection".

I don't wanna sound preachy and I really shouldn't be nosing into his business like this, but I think she's great for him. She actually listens to him and he constantly talks about her.
I don't know if he wants to tell her but later on, or he's just not up for it.

What should I do? Should I just leave him to his own devices or mention it to her in passing?

I have a friend that i am intimate with.when we met i knew that it was only gonna be sex, nothing more. I started to call him when i would drink, you know the drunk phone call.Damn I hate those..Anyway, I told him off cause he would not talk to me, he was busy or what not and now he wont answer my phone calls anymore.I asked him to tell me that he dont want me to call and i wont but he doesn't respond. He knows I will keep calling, should i stop.I just want to appologize to him. I dont want to end our freindship on bad terms.I know he can probably care less but my feelings are opposite. Do you think he will ever talk to me again? Should i just leave it alone? I can care less to see him, i mean he never broke it down anyway.I always did the work..I'm not desperate either..If you could see me you would be like "DAMN GINA"..I just want to be his friend and i dont want him to think that i am crazy..I'm just spoiled and want everything my way..Is that to much? Is that being to aggressive?

He had booked a hotel room for the night (not a very nice one at that, but cost him a bit of money!) i couldnt stay for my own reasons, i explained and appologised for having to leave him there but i had to go! He said that if i left he would be disgusted at me for leaving him there and would never talk to me again if i did! I said that this would probably be the best thing for us to do because our relationship has had its fair share of ups and downs and complications to the point where i couldnt take it anymore and he was oblivious to it, despite trying to communicate my feelings to him - for him to say that things will change - and then for the relationship going back to the way it was!
Its been over a week now, i havent made contact and niether has he! He would always talk about moving in together and the future and i always seemed to go along with his needs without having mine met!
I now feel guilty for leaving him at the hotel like that and for things ending the way they did

I have a girlfriend of 4 years. She had earlier on broken badly with her first boyfrieny which affected her so much. She says she loves me but the only thing we have done is go out and be together for long hours. She has asked more time before full commitment. I doubted her sincerity and and sought to find out and indeed she has no other man in her life, but 4 years is too much. Does she love me really or she is using me? Please advice before I miss the train

Alright, for the first time I'm settling. Normally the women I have date were women who I was genuinely interested in. However, I'm a lonely bastard right now and I will take what I can get. I finding though that settling is more trouble than going for a chick that I like. Have you ever settled? Was your relationship successful? Was settling more trouble than it is worth?
