He is a lovely guy and i can tell he's desperate for kids,he has already told me he loves me but i'm not sure if i believe him. I could see myself being with him for a long time as we get on great but do you think he's putting things on heavy?

I have been out of the dating scene for too long. I should take some time to get myself grounded but I want to go out as well. There is a woman I have been chatting with online and i can't get a read on her. I am very interested and would love to take it to the next step but am unsure of how she feels. this is totally opinion, but i'm curious to know what ladies think is the optimal height / weight. Preferably go a 2 inch range, and a 10 pound range. Check back later and ill make some charts if you're interested.

Last night was the worst night of my life. I'm going through major family issues right now, and I needed him to be there for me so badly. So he came over and I thought he was going to comfort me, but instead he broke up with me! I couldn't believe what he was doing, especially the timing. It was terrible. He said he's wanted to break up with me for a while, but didn't because he "didn't want to hurt me". Why do guys do that? Do they think I will commit suicide if they break up with me? WHY DO THEY DO THAT? Just yesterday afternoon we were telling each other how much we loved one another and making plans for this weekend and next weekend. What should I do? I told my boyfriend countless times that the only way he could hurt me is by not being honest. And then I find out he's wanted to break up with me, but has been dishonest about it! WHY???

Ok so there is this guy and we have been flirty and fooled around a little in the past but nothing major... well lately we were talking about dating then just kinda stopped, he lived far away at the time but was moving back so we were talking about something happening when he got here. Well we both dated around and i guess he started talking to his ex from here and they decided to see if something could happen. SO he told me he really liked me and was really attracted to me and it was an incredibly tough decision but he wants to see what happens with his ex and if it fizzles he really wants to try something with me. Im upset but understand.... but what do I do? lay low and just let it play out or intervene? I want this to work we have so much history and I KNOW it would work if I just get a chance. I dont want to push away this other girl and risk looking obsessive if she can bring him happiness but I just cant stand knowing I might not get a chance now! Dammit! Help!!!

Had a few Q's already today and the answers compel me to try and figure out WTF is going on w/ my gf. No need to worry bout the details, but she says I deserve someone better than her and gives me the sad look when she says it, but then tells me she can't even begin to tell me how much she loves me. How do I convince her that I want her to be honest w/ me, that if she loves me but "not that way" I want her to just tell me so? I am so confused! we go out (sometimes!) and flirt like crazy w/ each other still, but the only real emptions she ever shows is this crap about how I should be w/ someone better than her. Isn't that selfish? That is my decision to make for me.

When we met (in a bar, where I was sitting there smoking) he said it wasn't a big deal to him that I smoked and he didn't. For the first few weeks, he didn't say anything about it. I never smoked in his house, or allowed smoke to blow in his face, or smoked in close quarters, etc., because I have respect for his airspace. But nowadays, all he does is NAG me about smoking, is always checking to see how many cigarettes I have smoked in a day, tells me that all the money I "blow" on cigarettes could be used for something "important", etc. I'm getting tired of it! I don't want to quit and have told him this many times. He keeps saying that I don't have to quit, yet, every time I light up, he says something mean or rolls his eyes, etc. It's really starting to cause problems for us, and I don't know what to do. I love him, but I like my cigarettes, and don't feel like I should have to put up with this, especially since he initially said he was okay with it.

I have been with the same guy for 5 years. We are both in our mid 20's but he talks of getting married and having kids. Of course i want to some day but not with him. Every time we are together we fight. He calls me nasty names and then says its my fault he gets mad. I dont do anything except go to work 40hrs a week and then i have a night class once a week. He accuses me of all sort of things. I cant even have girlfriends to hang out with. Now here is my dilemna. He is from Jamaica and doesnt have any family left here in the states. His mother and two sisters are in Jamaica so he feels lost. I try to be there for him but obviously its not enough because of how he treats me. I want to leave him so bad but he makes me feel guilty. he always says that no one cares about him and he should just kill himslef. If i leave him, then he will really be alone. Please help, i dont know what to do. On one hand i know i need to do things for myself, but i have a huge heart and feel guilty. Help!
