Its been about a year and a half, and I have ups and downs. They have been dating constantly since the day we broke up. Why is it so hard and how do I move on? Help.

your attached emotionally, physically, and mentally, its normal and this proably will prove the love between you two, hang in there, and if you really want to end the relationship, take space from him and go do other things with your friends and family. god bless.

I would think that it depends on the two people involved and the reasons why the relationship ended. For example, if two people just drifted apart over the years there might not be as much emotionally invested as say, someone who had a solid relationship but then some infidelity took place, and an immediate breakup. I was married for eleven years and even though my ex was the unfaithful one, she started dating right away after we split up and for me it took well over a year to date and even then, I was not completely over her. Again, I think it comes back to the 2 people involved and the reasons for the breakup.

It takes until you get into another. Don't wait! for what? Do you really want to be alone? If so then why am I writing this and why are you asking? So "move on" as you say..
