I have went out with this guy who was from Africa, At first he treated me very well until he pressured me into sex. After I gave myself to him he still me okay until our six or seventh month that we were toghether he stop calling me and seeing me, Then I met several other guys who just wanted me for sex. Then I had a guy who was a really good friend to me. He started liking me and I had liked him too but we never got together. Now I'm with a guy that my mom does not like. My boyfriend is poor, has a GED but he is not in school. He sometimes put me to the side to be with his friends but he still calls me every day. I had messed up in our relationship because I had kissed my old friend which he is not my friend any more. But we got back together and now I really trying but he thinks about his ex from time to time. Help Me

I know.."an ex is an ex, move on"..the thing is I can't move on right now..we're both in college now(same school and even have a class together) she's been partying a lot with her friends on the weekends and tries to act "cool" by doing so..I'm starting up with my own fun but I still can't ever get her out of my head..and when those silent and lonely moments come, I get depressed and miss her a lot all over again..I wonder if she still feels the same and why she doesn't try to talk to me as much as we used to(when we were broken up we still talked everyday but now it's like every other day and she doesn't text me nearly as much anymore)..what can I do to get her back?? and I know for a fact that I shouldn't be in this situation because I treated her like a princess and she should be wanting me back..but I dunno why I'm in the position I'm in.. sometimes I'll tell myself just move on but I just can't..for now at least..I need some help on how to get her back please..

Keith has never treated me like anything but a queen. We have been together a year now, an it is unbelievable. But a month after was started dating, one year ago on the 8th, his ex gf birthed their daughter, Gabrielle. I love her to death, and wouldnt change a thing about her coming into this world (except maybe her phyco mother). The problem is.....sometimes I feel like I am competing with her for his love. We are teenagers, so its hard, but we have been through so much together in this last year. His life changed completely, and almost came to an end once, but I talked him out of it. He has explained to me time and time again that the love he feels for me and the love for his daughter are different kinds of love, but I get so...lost. He had to spend our 1 year anniversary with Gabrielle because the mother had to work, and even though I am happy for every minute he spends with her, since he isn't aloud to often, it is hard. I want to learn to accept and fit into this step-mother role.

After she caught me she left the apartment than in 3 minutes she was back, making a lame excuse to come back in. I covered up (somewhat) and that wasn't enough. She said it was OK she was cool with it. Last night she returned to our house and when we were alone she asked if she could see me dressed again more relaxed and in more detail.I am inmy 30s she is almost 19. What is the response? help!

I'm looking for a good quote to send my father about the inappropriateness of pressuring another into an unwanted relationship. He'll respect a quote.

My recently widowed father is pressuring me to make contact with an abusive older brother I haven't spoken to in 15 years. I broke off contact after he mocked my sexuality and made private threats about harm coming to loved ones. This broached my limits of tolerance and I've felt being out of sight and mind the best policy. He's pressuring my father to make me perform. My father and I have not spoken about this, but we both know how difficult my brother can be. I don't really want to raise the issue of his abusiveness. I know my father will tell him and that could potentially lead a volatile blame-game engagement. My brother loves fights.

In general, it seems to me that its simply inappropriate for a person to insist one relate to another to put themselves at peace. Anyone know of some relevant quotes for such a dysfunction?

Well, so far, he's introduced me to his family and friends, and his family likes me and are nice to me. He has issues with his ex, though, because they have a kid together, but he assured me that I was the one he loved and not her, and that he just sees her because of his daughter and nothing else. Every time he sees her I don't get jealous, but then I can't help but be a little insecure. Who can blame me? So I went and talked to his brother about how I felt, and he said that I shouldn't get insecure because he's just seeing his ex for the reason that he loves his daughter so much. His brother also told me that my boyfriend loves me, because he told his mom so. His sister also said that she could see by the look in his eyes that he really loves me, and he said that every quality that he's looking for in a girl is with me.

CLOSE friends for years and he's secretly liked me but he never went for it b/c he thought the chances of being w. me were slim only to find out that after all this time, I felt the same way back - I was the first girl he fell in love with (both in our 20's and gave him his first kiss; no sex just kisses) BUT "life challenges" (death) and rumors/assumptions from friends made us drift apart (he pushed me away) and it created tension BUT rather than giving up or seeking revenge, we worked it out and everything is starting to be better than before, the relationship grew (this happened in a 9 month span)

in the beginning as friends we would always be on the phone talking almost every night - we enjoy each other 's company. we've been growing up and changing and now the phone isn't really the best way to "talk" and see what's up with him; esp. after that "thing" we had - i called him today wonderin where he was and if he could mt up for a min and he said he had to work BUT said he was goin to be studying all day tomorrow and said he would be down for "hanging out" then - good?

Background: I moved in with my boyfriend and his daughter about 1 1/2 - maybe 2 years ago. Our current situation is he is working and I am going to school full time (he's paying for it). When I decided to move in when I did 'I' felt I needed to be involved with his daughter if I was going to be living with them, and in her life daily. As the years have rolled by though, and input from family and friends I wonder if I am expecting to much, and pressure from family and friends don't help.

So here is the deal. I get Satava (his daughter) ready for school, take her to school, pick her up from school, help her with homework, take her to and from karate, get her ready for bed, make dinner, clean the house, do laundry, take care of the dogs (both feeding & yard) not necessarily in that order about 90% of the time. AND go to school for 14 credit hours. (next semester will be 23 credit hours), and not to mention the homework…

I am recently divorced from a marriage where my wife left me. I still have feelings for her, but I know she is never coming back.

I have been friends with a nice girl since highschool (though i had not seen her for years) and our friendship was rekindled when I was going through the divorce, and she was also going through a difficult divorce. Everything between us had just been friends for months, and we were a mutual support system for each other. I found myself becoming attracted to her, and a few weeks ago, we became a couple.
She introduced me to her three kids, and they are very wonderful. I want kids someday, and feel that I would have to miss out on having my own being with her, and if we ever get more serious and live together, or marry...I would be living in another man's home.
I would like to hear from somebody that has made a situation like this work..I think i love her, but is it possible to "become" part of a ready made family?
