My babys dad and I have been together off and on for over 2 years. It has been a very unstable and rocky relationship. We were both at fault for the drama and fights but now we have a child together. Shortly after she was born he said he would want to be with other women in the future and that he couldn't see himself getting over our past and be able to be with me. I took that to heart and tried to let him go in my heart. Recently he has said he wants a fresh start and to put everything behind us. He promises me that he doesn't want anyone else. He treated me horribly while I was pregnant and even after. Just now he is behaving the way a mature man would. The problem is he pesters me to be intimate with him and I don't really want that or him. I want to be a family for my daughter and for all of us but how can I trust someone that has disrespected me, not appreciated me at all, and told me he wants someone else and then goes back on it. I don't know what to do.

We have a 13-year old daughter. She started discovering boys about 8 months ago. She has become very attached to a boy from school who I will call "John" We later discovered "John" has been sending our daughter e-mails about wanting sex.

Back in June we told our daughter she is not permitted to have a boyfriend, and we do not want her to see or communicate with "John." She has been in secret contact with him over the internet, and "John" has continued to to talk and ask her about sex.

Now, school has started and we are worried that our daughter and "John" will try to see each other.

We have tried to talk to John's parents. They could not give a crap what their son does. We tried to talk to them in a nice manner only to be told to "get lost."

I was hoping since my daughter is 13, that she would forget about this creep, but it seems that is not working. While we can monitor her activites at home, does anyone have any suggestions to help keep them away from each at school?

It's not just the females, males have that problem too. I'm dealing with that much better now days but the problem has got me into trouble before and it may happen again. Then there's females that wants to take care of a guy so that she can feel responsible for his success or something. But why do people really do that co-dependent thing? It must come from childhood issues.

My boyfriend and I just moved in together. I guess it’s natural because they can’t hear themselves while they are sleeping, but I cannot get any sleep because his snoring is so bad. It does not appear he really wants to do much about it even though I have insisted. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The reason there is not a father in the first place is because he was abusive & raped 2 of us (his kids).

Now my mom is going through a 'its my time to live' spell, and joined some online dating site.

TWICE she has met men, met with them only once or twice..then brought them back to the house for weekends, She does not 'truly' know these men, and as a child being from an abusive home (i am not living away at school) I am apalled my mom would do this with men she does not know.

Whats worse is there is a 5,15,and 17 yr old still living in the house. What can i say to my mom to get her to understand we dont care if she dates but we DONT want these guys near us until they've been dating a WHILE

well, it's actually more like love. We've known each other for almost five years. I used to date his friend and when that relationship fizzled out we found ourselves attracted to each other and became best friends first. He treats me so well (will watch a romantic movie without complaint!!!). My mother knows that my ex and him weren't friends and she used to work with both of them, and said there were some things at work she couldn't tell me, but didn't think he was a good guy for me.
I could understand if this guy had 10 kids, tattoos all over, and didn't have a plan for the future.
He did drop out of high school, but is currently attending college, with plans for grad school soon. He is very smart.
How should i handle my mom? tell her i'm 23 years old and know what i want and can make good decisions? I'm afraid that she will never think this is a good match.

Right now i'm a senior in high school. My boyfriend is on his first year at central michigan. We want to go to college together once i graduate. (we've been togetehr for 2.5 years we are both 100% confident in our relationship) If i were to go to central with him when i graduate, id have to transfer to a different college because they don't have my major (nursing). my 2nd choice would be michigan state.. Its good for nursing. i wasn't originally planning on leaving home my 1st year untill i decided to go to school with him. If he were to get accepted to Michigan state then i would go there.. if he didnt they i would not. My last choice would be going to schoolcraft (community) my 1st 2 years and then transfer. I would stay at home and it would be alot cheaper. Am i basing my decisions too much on my boyfriend? Would it be stupid to go 2 hours away to central and then have to transfer? I'm a smart girl with a good head on my shoulders i just need some advice.

WTF!? i typed on internet explorer, the letters s, b, t, and all theese random ones and i seen theese porn sites. I cant believe this. AND IM Friggin scared to tell him i know hes doing this because he tried killing me once, and he throws stuff .I also found out he has a drinking problem which makes things worse! My friends bday was 4 days ago and i sent her a msg on myspace cuz i didnt know how often she checked her email cuz i told her we will talk thru myspace, but i sent her a birthday ecard, & i know she viewed it. i havent heard from her yet and i think that since i called her "special" in the myspace message and said "happy birthday! i hope you have an awesome day and party in style. have a drink for me since i cant be there with you" (shes out of country) i think she MAY have taken it the wrong way

i like this girl still but she has made it clear to me that she only wants to be friends...i think my actions for wishing her a bday may have actually backfired and gone the negative way and now she is ignoring me...should i msg her on myspace and just be like "hey, so have a good birthday weekend?" or do you think i shouldnt message her? or just wait and see if she contacts me? i dont want things to be awkward...should i tell her i hope u didnt misintrpret anything? thanks for the help!

This is the situation:

1. I have been single for two months now and the ex is obsessed with getting me back, he even proposed.

2. I dated a guy 4 years ago, who left me high and dry when he went overseas. He is constantly making me feel bad about myself and at the same time telling me he loves me.

3. I am in love with the person referred to in point 2's best friend and I'm almost sure he feels the same. All these situations are very difficult and are putting strain on the one relationship I wish to build. I am afraid that he might lose interest.

What do I do in each instance and how do I prove that I'm worth the wait?

Was out with him yesterday and we had a fab day and I got caught up in the moment of being so in love with him and when I went home I txt him and asked him 2 marry me. He said yes and kept asking me was I serious and he was so happy etc, however my prob is I was drunk and didnt mean to ask him I want him to ask me I know it sounds old fashioned but thats the way I want it. I told him this morning that I was drunk when I said it and was so embarrassed. He replied by saying he would marry me today or tomorrow if he could. How do I get out of this one but get him to ask me instead and I not feel so embarrassed. What makes it worse is he went and told his aunt and she is delighted for us.

I need to help a friend of mine out. Her dad is cheating on her mum with another woman out of town. Her mum is completely unaware, and a wonderful person. If she finds out , it will completely shatter her life - like it shattered her daughters life when she discovered this about her dad. The daughter wants to protect her mum from this heartache by all means... she feels there is a possibilty of 'nipping this in the bud' by dealing with the woman directly. She has asked me for advice on what to write in the email she will be sending to this woman. I have thought it over and over... a threat would blow everything out of proportion, while a 'nice letter' might not even be effective. I thought of presenting a story to this woman - a story so touching, that would make her drip with guilt and make her conscience prick her constantly so that it will cease her relationship with my friend's dad. Please give me an idea, anyone know of a very touching story of a united family being split by the
