spending time together? I'm a girl who likes to have my space at times and ME times only every now and then. What happens if someone like me has a boyfriend who likes to spend alot more time together than she does? what if he never gets tired of her...sometimes we all like to let our hair dwn and just do our own things. i'd like your views, its the beginning of the relationship for the ppl it concerns.

I've been in a relationship for 2 and a half years. Due to circumstance's outside our control we spend all our time together. ( i mean 24/7 ) She understands i need my own time and it is important to me. We have moments together everday but still do our own thing. I guess it can be suffocating when you dont get your alone time and sometimes saying how you feel about the situation can give an understanding of it's importance. I guess it depends also on the age group and the others emotional security. Many factors you have not noted come into play.

I think that it is great that he wants to spend so much time with her, but if she needs for him to give her space, then he should if he truly loves her and respects her independence. If he is not allowing for her to do her own thing and it is affecting her, than it is a form of abuse and he is being too controlling. He needs to lighten up and let her be herself now and then. She will love him more for it and he should appreciate that.

I've been married 36yrs and having my own space is still important, so i under stand what you say. Tell him you have got to have time to your self. Trust me all that attention he gives you now will where off.

have you talked to him about this........if not why? he may feel that you like this and that's why he does it........
as a man i don't feel nor do i see the need to be around my wife all the time.....talk to him and ask him when did he become so hen pecked......don't make it sound like that you don't want him around or he might think that you're cheating on him.......you know most men are weak and lack knowledge so if you have to draw him a picture....lol

be kind be smooth and look him in the eyes while talking to him.......

its important to have your own time and space, even if you do absolutely nothing .Even couples who live together need time and space for them-selves
