My brother n law asked me to his prom I've been out of high school for almost 4 years now. But can't wait to go. Seems fun and I'm so happy he asked me to go. However I don't wanna spend alot for a dress any place I get a dress cheap or even free that's cute??? I wanna be all decked out for him but don't wanna spend an arm and a leg. Something under a 100 would be nice. Because I'm only gonna wear it this once.

Ok I know this sounds like the most stupid question ever, but here goes. I gave a guy my number and he's all I can think about, he won't actually get the number till tomorrow(Friday), a lot of people are concerned/mad for/at me because he is 20 I am 16. my mom is fine with it as long as we aren't doing "it"(and yes I am a firm believer in abstinence). Now the weekend is creeping up on me and I’m worried about his call. What do I say, I really like him but become friends first? So what, have him call so I can ask if we can become friends? I’m SO confused. And the worst part...I can't talk to any of my peers about it cause they go off on this you should be careful don't do this do that BS. I can talk to mom about it, but it's not the same. I really need some advice.

My ex gf lives with her parents at the age of 27. They are total religious whackos and have brainwashed her. She never had a chance to mature or seperate from them..and this is way unhealthy. She chose her parents and family over me time and time again, even though she knew they were unhealthy for her. I have given up on her and decided to move on. After she dumped me for like the 5th time, because she wanted to be at home with her family, I just said enough. Am I woring? Isnt this a little weird?

PS I did everything for this girl, I gave her such a nice life, spoiled her rotten, and only tried to help her and make her stronger. I feel like I have been used and thrown away like garbage!

I don't think real love exists in this world because even the most perfect marriages can die out. The only real love exists in heaven, and I feel like even though I try hard, I'll never find a true soulmate or someone my heart will belong to forever. I know I'm young and I probably have the rest of my life to figure this out but please, let me know if YOU think that true love on earth exists and tell me a moment in your life that proves it. I used to work for my brother as a manager in training making $7/hour about a year and a half ago but I quit with no notice and he got really mad at me. Now I'm working at a job farther away making $9.20/hour but I hate it. It is hard, dangerous and demeaning work. I have injured my back twice. However, since then I have had my first child and got married. My husband, who is legally unable to drive for six more months, works across the road from me now. If I get my old job back, I can still drive him to work but I will definately take a pay cut because I will be going back to my old pay of $7/hour. But I will have more time to spend with my son/husband and the job required little effort and had room for advancement. Whatever job I have is only temporary until I finish my degree. However, I don't quite know how to ask for my job back from my brother or even if I should. Should I?

The story in general. I'm a jap girl and my boy is from Spain. We met in japan and been dating for 1 and a half year. We are both very passionate, he's very fun-loving and honest. We were madly in love even we were apart. We met whenever we had vacations. Very great moments.

Sometimes he was confused about his feelings for me when we're apart, maybe coz of distance, or stress from work? But whenever we saw each other in person, all confusion would be gone.

The last time we met was January 2007. We had very great time, both were very in love; we were planning to meet in Easter. He said that he was gonna regret if he loses me.

However, he finally decided to break up with me this Feb, coz he has lost the love feelings, he doesnt have the motivation to make me happy with distance. He was very sad. But i think he has already got over this break-up now (he's a happy person who can get over sadness easily).

So I've been with my gf (age 25) for over a year now. We used to have sex at least 2-3 times a week. However, the last time we had sex was last early November. At first, I just thought that we kind of stopped having sex because we both were really busy and stressed out. For her, she is attmepting to earn two degrees, applying to pharmacy school, part-time managing a family owned business and two jobs. For me, I'm in the process of working on two degrees and applying to medical school. But as reality hit me, through all of that busy schedule we have, we also have some free time as well in which we just stay home and lounge around (aside from going out for the night). She wants a future with me & loves me.When I began hinting about sex, she just laughs and think I'm silly. I try to play around and start foreplay but she seems reluctant and tells me "Be good now." I sure hope you did take the time to speak out for yourselves. There are many of you that have very little chance to make a difference but all of you together sure can and will make a difference.

I have a problem with a son's teacher, ok now first of all my son is no angel. he has adhd and odd. but does that give a teacher the right to grab him. it all started will i got a call from the school and said he was having a bad day. and asked me if i could pick him up instead of him riding the bus i told them i would. i talked to him on the phone and asked him what happened and he said another kid started to yell at him and my son got in trouble for it. i told him not to worry that i would be right there to pick him up since school was out. when i got there i went into the prinipals office to get him and i told him letst go his teacher told me that we needed to talk because the story he told me probably was not the truth. i looked at her and said You are calling my son a liar. and she said yes i am
i told him lets go and she grabed his arm and told him no.
i told her to let go of him twice i finally had to move her hand off of his arm.. is it legal for her to do that?????

two men met at a bus stop and had struck up a conversation. one of them kept complaining of family problems. finally, the other one said?" u think u have problems? listen to my situation?
a few years ago i met a young widowwith a grown up daughter and we got married. later my father married my stepdaughter. that made my stepdaughter my stepmother and my father became my stepson in law.
also, my wife became the mother in law of her father in law. its not funny, my wife sees me as her grandson because my father is her son in law. u will realise that my stepdaughter and her mother, my wife, became sisters in law. then the daughter of my wife, my stepmother, who is also my stepdaughter, had a son. this boy was my half-brother because he was my fathers son, but he was also the son of my wifes daughter, witch made him my wifes grandson. that made me the grandfather of my halfbrother.
this was nothing until my wife and i had a son.

I'm 29 and starting to feel like I need to settle down and get married and have kids. I always get involved with "bad boys" though who end up not being husband material either because they have substance abuse problems or have no jobs and no education. I dated a nice stable guy for about 3 months but got bored and cheated on him. I'm afraid that if I find another nice stable guy and settle down with him I'll get bored again. Is marriage as boring as I think it is? Please help.

I'm a married man and I'm a teacher. I just don't know why female colleagues always fancy me ? Not all of them of course but it happens to me so many times. I fisrt thought it'd be a good idea to work in a different college : no way. It just doesn't work. Again this year quite a few of them want some action with me... When I try to keep my distance, they just try to make like sort of "trouble" in my private life. Women, why do you like married men ???

Please weigh in and help me settle a difference of opinion here. I wasn't feeling well or up to cooking tonight, so my good friend/neighbor called and offered to pick up dinner for me and my kids at KFC. She said she had a coupon for a meal, and could pick it up after she got a few things at the dollar store. She asked if my 10-year-old daughter wanted to ride with her, to get out of the house for a while, and my daughter wanted to go. Keeping in mind that these places are just 5 minutes from our home, and they left here at 5:30, was it reasonable for 7:30 to come and go without them being back or having even called? Her cell phone was disconnected, so I couldn't call to check on them. My friend finally calls me from a pay phone at 7:30 to say they are about to go pick up the food!!! I was fuming. Neither of my kids had eaten. My friend's excuse was, "Well, I got to walking up and down and up and down the aisles, and I didn't think I would take so long." My daughter was perturbed too.

alot of drama went down this year ( which is my senior year ) i dropped out today!!! i am so sad.. i had good grades, but i have to move out of my mom's house. I hate it ... i guess i will find out who my true friends are ? well i am getting my GED and i still am going to the community college around here. I just feel like i failed. My mom is a er nurse, and my dad owns gas stations. My brother went to jail, and our family has been through alot. I feel like trash, and i am nothing. do ya'll still think i can make it?

we split just over a year ago, i read his emails and found out he was a member of a bisexual/gay exploration website, he wasnt just a member he had been speaking to these men in a sexual way
i know i was wrong to read his emails
we finished
iv been bumping into him recently and weve been chatting
he has explained he was just exploringa and was curious
he was 16 at the time
is this an acceptable exuse?
i love him so much
i cant stop thinking of him
but another problem
my friends and family dont approve of him because they know what i went through when we split
