I'm 29 and starting to feel like I need to settle down and get married and have kids. I always get involved with "bad boys" though who end up not being husband material either because they have substance abuse problems or have no jobs and no education. I dated a nice stable guy for about 3 months but got bored and cheated on him. I'm afraid that if I find another nice stable guy and settle down with him I'll get bored again. Is marriage as boring as I think it is? Please help.

Marriage is only as boring as you want it to be. If you choose a partner that you are just "settling for" then its never going to work out.
If you wait for the man of your dreams to walk into your life, and you get married, then your marriage will seem magical, almost too good to be true.
I am going on being with the man of my dreams for 6 years now, we lived together for 4 years before we got married.
He was so worth the wait. i dated those bad boys too although I never cheated.
If you feel that you are going to be cheating on "great guys" who don't deserve that kind of treatment, try talking to a therapist to find out why you do that.. What is it exactly that is making you feel bored enough to cheat. Some people just get bored with themselves and don't know how to keep a relationship alive. If you have this issue, then you definatly want to get it figured out before you settle down.

Marriage is as boring as you make it. I have been married for almost 6 years and I am still so happy! There are times when we feel ourselves getting into a "routine" and we know that it is time to spice things up again. We have 2 daughters and things are still fun! Marriage ca n be great if you make it great!!!

No. When you get married, you do not stop "dating" each other. Before our son came along, my husband and I used to go on "weekend honeymoons," which consisted of a weekend in a hotel out of town somewhere.
