Ok I know this sounds like the most stupid question ever, but here goes. I gave a guy my number and he's all I can think about, he won't actually get the number till tomorrow(Friday), a lot of people are concerned/mad for/at me because he is 20 I am 16. my mom is fine with it as long as we aren't doing "it"(and yes I am a firm believer in abstinence). Now the weekend is creeping up on me and I’m worried about his call. What do I say, I really like him but become friends first? So what, have him call so I can ask if we can become friends? I’m SO confused. And the worst part...I can't talk to any of my peers about it cause they go off on this you should be careful don't do this do that BS. I can talk to mom about it, but it's not the same. I really need some advice.

uhoh, sweetie, there is a BIG difference in 16 and 20...not in age i mean, 4 years isnt that big of a deal, but mentally you're on compleatly different levels. Just be friends sweetie.

If he's interested, he'll call. Don't stress about it. I mean, he's 20, you're 16! Its not that bad. My friends parents are 16 years apart! Well.. Just talk to him like you'd talk to a friend. Don't ask him out, have him ask you. Don't make a move, let him. Ride on him to do everything first, unless you really think you should. Just play it cool and be normal! Don't stress.. I mean.. he's only a guy!

When I was 20 there was a 15 year old girl who liked me, but wih her being a minor, I said no way. Personally, I think you should look for somebody your own age. Be prepared, this guy might just be out for sex.

Well I guess it would be alright to talk to him and make sure you tell him you only want to be friends for now...you can still hang out and go to the movies without sex

You obviously know what could go wrong and have talked to people about it.
so if you still insist and he does call, just say your interested in getting to know him and find something in common you like to do.
